CreativeMode Studio lets you make the individual pieces of a mod before putting everything together.
Create a texture, 3D model, or sound once, improve it until it looks or sounds right, and then reuse it in different mods. This is especially helpful for bigger projects with several matching items, mobs, blocks, and effects.
Each piece you make is called a Studio asset. Studio keeps your assets together so you can open, edit, download, or use them later.
Select one or more Studio assets, then choose what you want to create:
The selected assets will be attached to your next creation. In your prompt, explain what each one should do. Type @ to mention an attached asset by name.
For example:
Use
@crystal-ore.pngfor a new ore block. Play@magic-chime-soundwhenever the ore is broken.
You can mix textures, models, and sounds in the same project.
Editing an asset keeps the earlier version, so you can try a different color, shape, or sound without losing the result you already liked.
Changing a Studio asset does not automatically change mods that already use it. To update an existing mod, create a Mod Edit and choose the updated asset.
See Using Studio Assets for more examples.
