Tips for Success#
Reference the base mob: "Creeper but made of ice" is clearer than describing cube-shaped creatures from scratch.
Maintain mob silhouette: The texture wraps around the existing model, so describe surface changes rather than shape changes.
Use color themes: Cohesive color palettes (red/orange fire theme, blue/white ice theme) help us make a good texture.
Mob Behavior#
Mobs don't have to keep their vanilla behavior. You can describe any behavior you want in your prompt. For example, you can make a mob passive or hostile with your prompt. Or you can have it drop a specific item on death.
Sound Effects and Dialogue#
You can add sound effects to your mob by describing what it should sound like in your prompt. For example, you can make a mob make a sound when it is hurt or when it is killed. You can also add dialogue to your mob by describing what it should say in your prompt. For example, you can make a mob say "Ouch!" when it is hurt.
Drops#
You can add drops to your mob by describing what it should drop in your prompt. For example, you can make a mob drop a specific item when it is killed.
Advanced Options#
You can use the advanced options dropdown on the Create Mobs page to add a custom texture, a reference image, or a sound effect for your mod.
Custom Texture - You can upload a custom texture for your mob. This will be used instead of the default texture. Reference Image - You can upload a reference image for your mob. This will be used to generate the texture for your mob. Sound Effect - You can upload a sound effect for your mob. This will be used to play when your mob is used.
