CreativeMode Launcher#
The fastest way to use CreativeMode mods. One-click installation, Quickplay testing, modpack management, and cloud sync.
Why Use It#
Quickplay launches mods instantly in test worlds. No manual setup. One-click mod installation. Modpacks with cloud sync. Multiplayer server deployment. Works on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Requirements#
Windows 10+, macOS 10.15+, or modern Linux. 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended). Minecraft Java Edition (1.20.1 or 1.21.5). Java 21 (installed automatically).
Installation#
Download from creativemode.net/launcher.
Windows: Run the .exe installer. Allow if Windows Defender warns. Follow the wizard. Click Finish.
macOS: Open the .dmg. Drag CreativeMode to Applications. Right-click and select Open (first time only).
Linux: Make executable with chmod +x CreativeMode.AppImage then run it. Or use .deb with sudo dpkg -i or .rpm with sudo rpm -i.
Open the launcher. Sign in with your CreativeMode account. The launcher will detect Minecraft and install Fabric automatically.
Using Mods#
From web: Click "Play in Launcher" on any mod page. The launcher opens, downloads the mod, and launches Minecraft with it loaded in a test world.
From launcher: Browse or search mods. Click "Play" to launch with Quickplay.
Quickplay#
Instant mod testing. Click "Play in Launcher" anywhere. Launcher downloads the mod, creates a superflat test world, and launches Minecraft. Done in seconds. Perfect for rapid iteration when creating mods.
Modpacks#
Create collections of multiple mods. Go to Modpacks tab. Click Create New. Add mods from your library or browse. Modpacks sync to the cloud automatically. Play them locally or deploy to multiplayer servers.
Multiplayer#
Deploy modpacks to CreativeMode-hosted servers. Create or select a modpack. Click Deploy to Server. Configure settings. Share with friends. All players get mods automatically.
Troubleshooting#
Won't start: Run as Administrator (Windows), check Security & Privacy (macOS), make executable (Linux), check antivirus.
Can't find Minecraft: Go to Settings → Minecraft Installation. Browse to your .minecraft folder manually.
Mods not loading: Check you're launching the correct version, restart launcher, reinstall mod.
Quickplay fails: Link Microsoft account in settings, verify Minecraft license, check internet connection.
Settings#
Memory allocation: Settings → Performance. Recommended 4GB minimum, 8GB for modpacks.
Custom Minecraft installation: Settings → Minecraft → Browse to your folder.
The launcher manages Fabric Loader 0.16.14 and version-specific Fabric API automatically.
