Sound and Dialogue

You can add custom sound effects and dialogue to any mod by including them in your prompt, uploading audio files, or adding them through edits.

Including Sounds in Your Prompt#

You can request sounds when creating any type of mod by describing them in your prompt. CreativeMode will generate custom sound effects that match your description.

Weapon example: "Flaming sword with whooshing fire sound on swing and crackling explosion sound on hit"

Mob example: "Creeper that screams before it explodes"

You can add sound descriptions to any mod type. Just describe when the sound should play and what it should sound like.

Adding Dialogue#

You can add dialogue to mobs and NPCs by describing what they should say and when. CreativeMode will generate voice lines that match your character description.

Mob dialogue example: "Friendly dragon that says 'Hello adventurer!'"

NPC example: "Village guard that greets players with 'Welcome to our town'"

Combat dialogue: "Boss that taunts players with 'Is that all you've got?'"

Dialogue can be triggered by various events like right-clicking, approaching, attacking, taking damage, or reaching certain health thresholds. Just describe when you want the character to speak.

Uploading Your Own Sounds#

You can upload custom audio files in the advanced options when creating a mod. Supported formats are .mp3, .wav, and .ogg files. The maximum file size is 5MB per file.

To upload sounds, expand the advanced options during mod creation, click "Upload Sound", select your audio file, and specify when the sound should play.

Adding or Modifying Sounds Through Edits#

You can add new sounds or change existing sounds using the Edit feature after your mod is created.

To add a new sound: Edit your mod and request "Add [description] sound for [event]". For example, "Add a magical chime sound when the sword is equipped".

To upload a sound in an edit: Edit your mod and mention you want to upload a sound. You'll be able to upload your audio file during the edit process.

Sound and Dialogue Description Tips#

When describing sounds and dialogue, be specific about what you want:

Use descriptive words like "deep metallic clang", "soft whooshing wind", or "high-pitched magical chime" instead of vague terms like "sword sound" or "magic sound".

For dialogue, specify the character's voice style like "deep gravelly voice", "cheerful high-pitched voice", or "mysterious whisper".

Reference familiar sounds like "similar to thunder but shorter" or "like breaking glass but deeper".

Specify when sounds or dialogue should play, such as "on swing", "when placed", "when hurt", "on right-click", or "when player approaches".
