Install Java 21

Minecraft 1.21.5 and Fabric Loader expect Java 21 for the local runtime.

Install Fabric Loader 0.16.14 for Minecraft 1.21.5

Open the Fabric installer, target Minecraft 1.21.5, then launch the created Fabric profile once.

Download Fabric API 0.123.2+1.21.5

You will use this jar file together with your CreativeMode mods.

Download your CreativeMode mod

Use the download button on the mod page to save the mod .jar file.

Move both jars into the mods folder

Your CreativeMode mod jar and the Fabric API jar should sit together in the same mods folder.

Launch the Fabric profile

Open Minecraft with the 1.21.5 Fabric profile and test the mod in a world.

Default mods folder paths

Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods

Linux: ~/.minecraft/mods
