    Modpacks

You can create, manage, and play Java modpacks with the CreativeMode Launcher.

    Overview#

Modpacks combine multiple mods into a single modpack. Modpacks can then be used for playing your mods either solo or on your CreativeMode Multiplayer server (see Multiplayer).

Modpacks are created in the Modpacks section of the CreativeMode Launcher. They're also automatically synced to the cloud for backup. The launcher only supports Java Edition, but modpacks for Bedrock Edition can be created on the My Modpacks page. See Modpacks for more detailed instructions.

    Creating Modpacks#

Go to the Modpacks section of the CreativeMode Launcher. Click "Create Modpack." Enter a name and description. Select the Java Minecraft version (26.1, 1.21.5, or 1.20.1, locked after creation). Click Create.

    Adding Mods#

From CreativeMode: Click "Add Mods" in the modpack → Browse/search mods → Click "Add to Modpack" → Automatic download and install.

From Library/Explore: Right-click the mod → "Add to Modpack" → Choose the modpack to add it to.

    Launching#

You can launch a modpack by clicking the play icon in the modpack list.

Each modpack has own saves folder so you can create a world specific to a modpack.

    Multiplayer#

To use a modpack in Multiplayer, create a modpack normally. Then go to Multiplayer and create or edit your server to use that modpack. The server will then sync with the modpack and install the mods. Players who join the server will automatically download the mods.
