Install CreativeMode mods (add-ons) for Minecraft Bedrock.
Make sure you have these installed before proceeding:
- Minecraft: Bedrock (latest version on your platform)
- .mcaddon: A downloaded file from CreativeMode
- Locate the downloaded
.mcaddon file.
- Double-click (or tap on mobile). Minecraft Bedrock will launch and import it automatically.
- Android: Use a file-explorer app such as FX File Explorer to locate the
.mcaddon, then tap it and choose Open with Minecraft.
- Create or edit a world (must edit in the world settings before launching the world).
- In Behavior Packs and Resource Packs tabs, activate your new add-on.
- For structures, choose
Advanced > Simulation distance > 8 chunks.
- Creatures: find the spawn egg in the Creative inventory or use
/summon.
- Items: search in the Creative inventory or use
/give.
- Structures: use the added wand item to spawn your structure.
You cannot install .mcaddon files directly on console, but you can use CreativeMode add-ons through a server or Realm.
- Open My Servers and add the add-on to your server.
- Sign into Minecraft with your Microsoft account.
- From the main menu, go to Play, then Friends or Social. Add
ChunkCM, our official account, as a friend.
- From the main menu, go to Play. Under Worlds, join CreativeMode.net Servers.
- Join your world or your friend's world. You can find your server info and Server ID on My Servers.
Add add-ons to your Minecraft Realm on mobile or PC, then join that Realm from your console.
Ensure you opened the .mcaddon file with Minecraft and enabled the pack in both Behavior and Resource tabs.
If importing a new version of an add-on, delete any older copies in Settings → Storage → Behavior Packs / Resource Packs. Tap the mod and press the trash can icon, then import the updated .mcaddon.
