Studio creates reusable 3D models as Blockbench .bbmodel projects. Choose a placeable model for something that belongs in the world or a handheld model for an item the player carries.
Use Placeable for furniture, statues, machines, decorations, and other objects that players put into the world.
The model controls appearance. When creating the mod, describe its size, placement, collision, drops, and interactions. See Placeable 3D Objects.
Use Handheld for tools, weapons, wands, gadgets, and equipment. After generation, use the orientation controls to adjust how the model should sit in the player's hand.
The mod prompt controls stats and abilities. See Handheld 3D Objects.
Reference images are most useful when they show a clear silhouette and several important angles.
Select a saved model and start an Item or Full Mod. Explain exactly what the model represents and what it should do.
You can also download the .bbmodel project and open it in Blockbench. If you make changes there, see Uploading Blockbench Models.
