Slabber
Licks
Every so often a slabber ambles over to the nearest creature within 10 blocks, players included, and licks it. A lick puts out fire and removes one harmful effect, such as Poison or the Soulsick effect from ichor.
Shearing
Use shears on a slabber to harvest the plants on its back: 1–2 White Willow Saplings, and sometimes a Goldfrond. Its sprouts grow back after 3 to 5 minutes.
Dozing
Slabbers sleep through the Endure tide. A dozing slabber lies flat with its eyes shut and snores. It doesn’t wander or lick anyone until the tide turns. A hit wakes it for 30 seconds.
