What is the Swift?
We made our version of the Sift, Minecraft's first new dimension in 14 years. Why wait until 2027? Here's what it includes:
- 15 new mobs including 3 bosses
- 6 biomes: Swift Meadows, White Willow Grove, Swiftstone Spires, Carapace, Ichor Shallows, Echo Den
- 6 structures to explore
- 78 new blocks
- 3 tides that change the rules
- 8 soul powers from Soul Blocks
- A new portal opened with music
- 11 advancements to earn

Tides
The tides keep shifting
A day in the Swift lasts 20 minutes and runs through three tides. Each one changes the rules.
One Swift day
20 minutes, then it repeats
- Dawn: Slack
- Day: Surge
- Dusk: Slack
- Night: Undertow
Surge
Day · 8 min 20 s- Soul Blocks recharge twice as fast.
- Echo golems heal you twice as often.
Slack
Dawn and dusk · 1 min 40 s each- Nothing changes.
- A short breather between the other two.
Undertow
Night · 8 min 20 s- Soul Blocks stop recharging.
- Half the monsters spawn soul-warped: tougher, and burning, freezing or fleet.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the official Sift?
No. The Swift is a fan-made version by CreativeMode. It’s not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.
When does the real Sift come out?
Mojang says 2027. The Swift is playable today.
Which versions does it support?
Java 26.1.x and 26.3 with Fabric, and Bedrock 1.26.50 or newer.
How do I get there?
Find an ancient city and play five different notes on note blocks near its big deepslate frame.
Do I need shaders?
No. Our Java scenery shots use the Complementary Reimagined shaders, but the Swift works without them. The mob pictures are from Bedrock, without shaders.
Will it get updates?
Yes. We’ll keep adding to it as Mojang reveals more.
