Licks
Every so often a licker ambles over to the nearest creature within 10 blocks, players included, and licks it. A lick puts out fire and removes one harmful effect, such as Poison.
Shearing
Use shears on a licker to harvest the plants on its back: 1–2 White Willow Saplings, and sometimes a Goldfrond. Its sprouts grow back after 3 to 5 minutes.
