The Swift
The Swift is a fan-made dimension for Minecraft: a bright, peaceful world of coral-pink meadows, frosted trees and pools of rainbow-coloured ichor under a turquoise sky. It is full of souls and song. Gentle Singers, bouncing blubs and patient echo golems live here alongside hungry swiftlings, and deep in the sculk, three bosses are waiting.

You reach it through the great reinforced deepslate frame at the heart of every ancient city, by playing it a melody. On some nights, a rift tears open in the Overworld and offers a shortcut.

About this edition
The Bedrock add-on has the same world, creatures and structures as the Java Edition mod, with a few differences you’ll notice:
- Ichor is a glowing block rather than a flowing liquid. You sink slowly through it instead of swimming.
- Portal melodies must be played by hand; note blocks played by redstone don’t count.
- The sky only changes colour between day, dusk and night with Vibrant Visuals turned on.
- Tamed pets can’t follow you between dimensions.
- White willow has no signs, hanging signs, shelves or boats: add-ons can’t add those.
- Advancements appear as on-screen messages. Type /swift:advancements in chat to see your progress.

Did you know?
- Every player gets their own soul power from a Soul Block, and it’s always the same one.
- The Swift’s day is split into three tides. During the Undertow, soul-warped monsters roam.
- A licker will lick you better: it puts out fire and removes a harmful effect.
- Monarchs fight alongside their own echoes, which repeat every attack.
- Drop a diamond spear into ichor and it comes out as a Spectral Spear.
