Now and then a hurler loads blue goo into its mouth while it waits. When it sees you 4 to 16 blocks away, it loads up, hops and spits the goo ( hearts: 1.5 and Slowness II for 3 seconds) every few seconds. It backs off if you come closer, and a hit knocks it well back.
