Ichor

The Swift’s shimmering, rainbow-banded liquid. It’s harmless to the creatures that live here, but it burns visitors.

Ichor is a thick, slow-flowing liquid that shimmers in pastel bands of pink, violet, cyan, green and gold. It fills the basins of the Ichor Shallows and pools all over the Swift. You can swim in it, slowly.

Soul Burn

Ichor burns players. Touching it gives you Soul Burn, which deals half a heart of damage every second and lasts 5 seconds after you get out. Soul Burn burns through Fire Resistance, and water won’t put it out. A licker’s lick can remove it. Players in Creative are safe.

Mobs and ichor

Ichor never hurts mobs. Blubs love it: they seek it out, bathe in it and heal while they soak.

Forging the Spectral Spear

Throw a diamond spear into ichor. After 3 seconds it is forged into a Spectral Spear, fully repaired, and pops out of the ichor. This earns Tempered in Ichor.

Collecting it

Use an empty bucket on ichor to get a Bucket of Ichor, and use the bucket to pour it out again.
