Levelbound Legends

Quickstart

1. Enter your world. Your first player spawn gives you a Legend Codex automatically.
2. Hold the codex and use it to open your level and ability screen.
3. Defeat creatures and mine blocks to earn XP.
4. Watch the action bar for your current level and XP progress.
5. Level up to unlock abilities such as Haste, Strength, Speed, Luck, and Resistance.

Overview

Levelbound Legends adds an RPG-style progression system to your Minecraft world. Each player has a personal level and XP total. Your progression is saved with your character, and the Legend Codex lets you review your current status and unlocked abilities.

Your current level and XP are displayed on the action bar as a progress bar.

What It Adds

• Legend Codex — Opens your progression and ability menu.
• Player levels — Earn XP and advance through levels.
• XP progression — Defeat creatures and mine blocks to gain experience.
• Unlockable abilities — Gain passive combat, travel, mining, defense, and fortune bonuses.
• Saved progression — Your level and XP remain associated with your hero.

How To Use

Legend Codex

Use the Legend Codex from your inventory to open its menu. The menu displays:

• Your current level
• Your current XP
• XP required for the next level
• Every available ability
• Whether each ability is unlocked or the level required to unlock it

The codex is automatically placed in your inventory the first time you spawn. It can also be crafted at a crafting table using gold ingots, lapis lazuli, and a book.

XP And Leveling

Earn XP by:

• Defeating creatures
• Mining blocks

Your XP fills the progress bar shown on the action bar. When the required amount is reached, you level up automatically. Any XP beyond the level requirement carries over toward the next level.

The XP requirement increases with each level:

Each further level requires 50 more XP than the previous level-up.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Legend Codex is available in two ways:

• Receive one automatically when you first spawn.
• Craft one at a crafting table with gold ingots, lapis lazuli, and a book.

The codex does not stack, so keep it in an accessible inventory slot when you want to check your progress.

Abilities And Mechanics

Abilities unlock automatically when you reach their required level. Their effects are applied while you play.

When you unlock an ability, the mod announces the level-up and the newly unlocked ability. A level-up sound also plays.

Progression And Strategy

• Keep the Legend Codex nearby so you can check how close you are to the next ability.
• Explore and mine while travelling to build XP through normal resource gathering.
• Fight creatures as you encounter them to combine combat and exploration progress.
• Reach level 2 early for Haste I, which improves exploration and mining.
• Level 3 Battle Focus helps with combat, while level 4 Hunter's Instinct improves travel speed.
• Continue leveling toward Treasure Sense at level 5 and Legend's Resilience at level 6 for fortune and defense benefits.
