    Bee

    Description:

A mechanical bee that patrols the skies above hostile mobs. When it detects an enemy threat, the Bomber Bee flies directly overhead and deploys non-destructive TNT charges that damage mobs without destroying blocks or the surrounding terrain.

    Mod Wiki

    Bomber Bee

    Quickstart

    1. Install the .mcaddon file and enable both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack for your world.
    2. Bomber Bees spawn naturally in most overworld biomes (plains, forests, jungles, deserts, savannas, taiga, and more) during the day, in groups of 1–3.
    3. To spawn one immediately, use the Bomber Bee Spawn Egg (dark grey with gold spots) from the Creative inventory, or run /summon com_bomber_bee_wz42cjq2:mybee.
    4. Place the bee near hostile mobs and watch it patrol the skies — when it detects a monster, it will rise high above and begin bombing it.

    Overview

The Bomber Bee is a mechanical flying mob that acts as an aerial guardian against hostile mobs. It cruises the skies on patrol, and the moment it spots a monster within range it switches into combat mode: climbing high overhead and raining down explosive charges that hurt mobs without damaging any blocks or terrain. Once the threat is gone, it returns to its calm patrol.

    How To Use

    Natural Spawning

Bomber Bees spawn automatically in the following biomes during daylight hours on Easy through Hard difficulty:

    • Plains, Forest, Birch Forest, Dark Forest (Roofed)
    • Jungle, Desert, Savanna, Taiga

They appear in small groups of 1 to 3. Because they use the monster population pool, they won't overcrowd passive mob spawning.

    Manual Spawning

Use the Bomber Bee Spawn Egg from the Creative inventory, or run:

    /summon com_bomber_bee_wz42cjq2:mybee

    Abilities And Mechanics

    Patrol Mode

When no threats are detected, the Bomber Bee hovers and drifts randomly at heights of 6–12 blocks above the ground, slowly scanning the area within a 24-block radius.

    Combat Mode

Once a hostile mob enters detection range (up to 24 blocks), the Bomber Bee:

    1. Locks on to the target and transitions into combat.
    2. Circles high above the enemy, positioning itself 8–14 blocks directly overhead.
    3. Drops explosive charges every 3–5 seconds — these projectiles damage mobs on impact but are non-destructive: they deal no block damage to the terrain, structures, or the environment.
    4. If the threat escapes or is defeated, the Bomber Bee returns to patrol.

    Self-Defense

If attacked, the Bomber Bee will prioritise its attacker. It panics and flees when set on fire, resuming normal behavior after a short time.

    Drops And Loot

Bomber Bees drop mechanical scrap and salvage when killed. Looting enchantments improve most drop quantities.

    Progression And Strategy

    • Use Bomber Bees as natural defenders. Build near biomes where they spawn and let them patrol around hostile mob spawners or dark areas — they'll engage zombies, skeletons, creepers, and other monsters automatically.
    • Don't worry about collateral damage. The Bomber Bee's explosive charges are block-safe, so you can let them fight next to your builds without fear.
    • Farm them for materials. With a Looting sword you can collect a solid supply of iron, copper, gunpowder, redstone, and the rarer observer or gold ingot drops. Honeycomb and gold ingots are exclusive to player kills, so it's worth fighting them yourself rather than letting other mobs finish them off.
    • Leash them. Bomber Bees can be leashed, letting you anchor one near your base as a stationary air-defense unit.
    • Watch your fire. They panic and scatter when burning, so fire-based strategies will disrupt their targeting temporarily.

Listen, I know what you’re thinking. "Wade, did you really let a radioactive apiary have its way with you?" First of all, rude. Second, meet the Deadpool Bee. It’s got the same adorable fuzzy butt, the same tiny wings, and the same "I love flowers" vibe as a regular Minecraft bee, but with a significantly higher therapy bill and a custom red-and-black suit that screams, "I’m here to pollinate and kick ass—and I’m all out of nectar." Why is this Bee better than you? Creeper Crushing: See that green, phallic-looking walking cactus over there? This bee hates him more than I hate Francis. If a Creeper gets within 30 blocks, my little winged mini-me goes full superhero landing on its face. The "One-Punch" Sting: Unlike regular bees that poke you and then die like total losers, this little guy packs a 60-damage sting. It’ll one-shot a Creeper before the thing can even say "Ssssss—" Family Values: When this bee hooks up with another bee (don't judge, it's a lonely world), the kid is always a Deadpool Bee. Dominant genes, baby! We’re taking over the hive, one red-and-black larva at a time. Total Professionalism: It still does all the boring stuff—pollinating, making honey, hanging out in nests. It’s a functional member of society, just with a much higher body count. Technical Crap (For the Nerds) "This isn't just a reskin, it's a lifestyle choice." This is a fully custom entity. It won't replace your boring yellow bees; it spawns right alongside them. It uses the vanilla model and animations because, let’s be honest, the silhouette is iconic. It’s survival-friendly, player-friendly (unless you start it), and 100% ready to make your garden the safest, most violent place on the map. Now, go download it before I have to come in there and "pollinate" your base myself. Maximum effort!

A rare, neutral bee that wanders aimlessly throughout the Overworld. The Loot Bee does not belong to a hive and never sleeps. It is non-aggressive but will flee quickly if attacked. Upon death, it drops high-tier Nether loot including Netherite Scraps, Ghast Tears, and a 5 percent chance for Ancient Debris.
