Atomic Skycaller

Quickstart

1. Craft the Atomic Skycaller at a crafting table.

1. Equip it in your hand.
2. Look toward an area you want to bombard and use the item.
3. A bomber appears overhead, then releases a cluster of TNT at the point about 40 blocks in the direction you are looking.
4. Move to a safe distance and wait for the explosions.

The airstrike has a 10-second cooldown, so you cannot call in another one immediately.

Overview

The Atomic Skycaller is a one-handed airstrike remote disguised as a sword. When used, it calls an Atomic Skycaller Bomber into the sky and launches a concentrated TNT bombardment toward your aim point.

The strike creates a large blast and surrounds the impact area with smoke and flame particles, giving the battlefield a radioactive-wasteland appearance.

How To Use

Hold the Atomic Skycaller and use the item while facing the desired target.

• The target point is approximately 40 blocks ahead in the direction you are looking.
• The bomber appears roughly 24 blocks ahead and 18 blocks above you.
• The bomber releases its TNT payload after a short delay.
• The impact includes TNT spread around the target rather than a single explosive.
• The item cannot be triggered again until its cooldown expires.

Aim into the open area you want to destroy. Because the target is determined by your viewing direction and distance, adjust your vertical aim as well as your horizontal aim.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Atomic Skycaller at a crafting table using the displayed recipe:

The recipe requires redstone blocks, TNT, a nether star, and an iron ingot. The result is one Atomic Skycaller.

Abilities And Mechanics

Nuclear Airstrike

Using the item summons a bomber and begins an airstrike sequence. After the bomber has had time to arrive, multiple TNT charges appear in a spread around the target and produce a large chain of explosions.

Impact Zone

Smoke effects are distributed throughout an area extending roughly 100 blocks around the target, with flame effects appearing at many of the same points. These effects are visual; the mod does not provide a separate radiation meter, radiation damage effect, or permanent radioactive blocks.

Melee Use

The Atomic Skycaller can also be used as a melee weapon. It deals 6 damage and is held like a sword. Its maximum durability is 36, and it can only be carried one at a time because its stack size is 1.

Progression And Strategy

• Gather the nether star and TNT before attempting to craft the item.
• Test the airstrike in a cleared area before using it near valuable builds.
• Stand well away from the target: the TNT cluster can destroy terrain and damage nearby entities.
• Aim above or below the horizon to place the strike at a useful height.
• Use the 10-second cooldown to reposition, assess the damage, and prepare the next target.
• Treat the Atomic Skycaller as both a powerful battlefield tool and a limited-durability emergency weapon.
