Skybound Jetpack

Quickstart

1. Obtain the Skybound Jetpack Chestplate from the Creative inventory, or craft it at a crafting table.
2. Equip it in your chest armor slot.
3. Press the Jump button while wearing it to activate flight.
4. Use your normal movement controls to soar through the air.

Overview

The Skybound Jetpack is a wearable chestplate that grants flight when you jump while it is equipped. It is designed for quickly exploring the world, reaching high places, and traveling above terrain.

How To Use

Equip the Jetpack

Place the Skybound Jetpack Chestplate in your chest armor slot. The flight ability only activates while the jetpack is equipped there.

Activate Flight

Press the Jump button while wearing the jetpack. This grants you flight and allows you to move through the air using your standard movement controls.

Flight remains enabled until you remove the jetpack. Removing it disables the jetpack’s flight ability.

Repair It

The chestplate can be repaired with sticks in an anvil. It is not stackable, so each jetpack occupies its own inventory slot.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Skybound Jetpack Chestplate at a crafting table using iron, redstone, an elytra, and a firework rocket.

Alternatively, take it from the Creative inventory under the chestplate equipment group or use its item ID with /give.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Jumping while the jetpack is equipped activates flight.
• The jetpack does not require a separate fuel or activation item during use.
• Removing the chestplate turns off the flight ability it granted.
• The jetpack has 300 durability and provides 5 armor points.
• Its crafting recipe uses a firework rocket as an ingredient; rockets are not used as a flight trigger.

Progression And Strategy

Craft the jetpack after obtaining an elytra, then use it to explore large areas without terrain slowing you down. Keep an eye on its durability during extended adventures and carry sticks for anvil repairs. It is especially useful for scouting, reaching tall structures, and traveling over oceans or mountains.
