Description
You can also summon one with:
/summon com_pea_shooter_w4zlx52p:pea_shooter
The Pea Shooter is a peaceful, wandering plant-like creature. It behaves like a passive animal, roaming around grass and following players who hold suitable vegetables.
It does not attack players. Pea Shooters have 10 health points, equal to 5 hearts.
Pea Shooters can naturally spawn:
Look across grassy, well-lit areas to find them.
In Creative mode, search the inventory for Pea Shooter Spawn Egg and use it on the ground.
With commands enabled, use:
/summon com_pea_shooter_w4zlx52p:pea_shooter
Hold any of these items in your hand:
A nearby Pea Shooter will be tempted to follow you. Use this to move it into an enclosure or guide it away from danger.
Pea Shooters can be attached to leads. Use a lead to tie one to a fence or guide it while exploring.
They can also be named with a name tag.
There is no crafting recipe for the Pea Shooter or its spawn egg.
You can obtain Pea Shooters by:
Adult Pea Shooters drop 1–2 beetroot seeds when killed. A Looting-enchanted weapon can provide up to 1 additional seed.
Pea Shooters wander peacefully and do not have an attack. They can panic and run when threatened, and they avoid water while walking.
Potatoes, carrots, and beetroots attract Pea Shooters. Holding one of these foods is the easiest way to move an adult or baby.
This behavior does not tame the creature.
Baby Pea Shooters are smaller and follow their parent when one is present. Feeding a baby a potato, carrot, or beetroot helps it grow toward adulthood.
Adult Pea Shooters drop beetroot seeds when killed:
An adult Pea Shooter can also drop 1–3 experience points when the final hit is made by a player.
