Rainbow Tools adds a complete set of colorful tools and a sword with diamond-level strength and durability. The set is built around the Rainbow Core, which combines diamond, amethyst, and gold.

The Rainbow Core is the crafting ingredient for every Rainbow tool and the Rainbow Tools Guidebook. It requires a diamond, amethyst shards, and gold ingots.

Use a crafting table and arrange Rainbow Cores and sticks in the same patterns used for ordinary tools. Each tool uses a different number of Rainbow Cores:

Hold the Rainbow Tools Guidebook in either hand and use it. The guide’s instructions appear as messages in chat. You can use the book whenever you need a reminder of the mod’s crafting path.
The guidebook is crafted shapelessly from a book and one Rainbow Core.

Start by gathering the materials for a Rainbow Core. Once you have one, craft the guidebook if you want an in-game reference, or use the core directly to begin making tools.
The Rainbow Shovel is the least expensive tool in Rainbow Cores, while the Rainbow Pickaxe and Rainbow Axe require three cores each. Plan your cores around the tools you use most often, then complete the set as you gather more diamonds, amethyst, and gold.
