Quickstart

1. Head into a Cloudwood forest biome and chop Cloudwood Logs and CloudShroom blocks for a sky-themed building kit.
2. Gather basic materials (feathers, amethyst shards, phantom membranes) to craft a Cloud Feather, then a Sky Feather — the key crafting ingredient behind almost every relic in this mod.
3. Craft a Cloud Sigil early on; it unlocks the first Sky Story Book and is a component of the Sky Temple Portal.
4. Tame or befriend the cloud pets roaming the skies using cloud fruit and friendship-themed relics.
5. Build a Sky Temple Portal to access Sky Warden trial areas guarded by powerful sky bosses.
6. Craft weapons like the SkyBow, Frost Cloud Crossbow, or Thunderstrike Staff to fight through trial guardians and collect story books documenting the Sky Warden lore.

Overview

Sky Warden adds a floating Cloudwood realm filled with cloud-themed trees, crops, and creatures. Players explore cloud biomes, tame a wide cast of cloud pets and guardian mobs, and craft skybound weapons and relics used to open portals and clear a series of escalating Sky Warden trials. Along the way, players can collect a set of lore books that piece together the story of the Sky Warden world.

How To Use

• Building: Use Cloudwood and CloudShroom materials just like normal wood — placeable logs, planks, slabs, and stairs for constructing sky bases.
• Farming: Plant Cloud Sapling to grow cloud trees, or plant Cloud Grass Seeds and Cloudwood Seeds to farm Cloud Wheat, which converts into more seeds and food.
• Pets and guardians: Spawn eggs summon cloud pets and guardian mobs directly. Approach friendly cloud pets with Cloud Fruit or Electric Fruit to win their trust; guardians are tougher fights meant to be engaged with proper gear.
• Weapons: Equip the SkyBow or Frost Cloud Crossbow for ranged combat, fire LockDown Arrows to root enemies in place, or unleash the Thunderstrike Staff and Flame Bullet Uzi for area damage. Throw Frost Throwing Stars for quick ranged strikes.
• Utility items: Use the Phantom Echo Pearl to teleport like an ender pearl with an eerie phantom effect. The Temple Keeper Key opens locked doors within Sky Warden temple structures. Place the Loot Deposit Machine near a trial arena to store rewards safely.
• Portal: Build and activate the Sky Temple Portal to travel into Sky Warden trial areas where guardian bosses await.
• Lore collecting: Craft each Sky Story Book from its associated relic, then combine all eight into the final compiled Sky Story Book IX.

• Sky Feather is the master crafting ingredient linking most higher-tier relics and weapons together — craft plenty of it before diving into weapon or relic recipes.
• LockDown Arrows fire like normal arrows but apply a restraining effect, useful for pinning down mobile guardians during trials.
• Phantom Echo Pearl functions as a throwable teleport item, echoing the classic ender pearl but themed around phantom essence.
• Cloud pets are friendly, tamable companions that follow and support players, while guardian mobs (Zaryan, Ezekiel, Acrux, Caelum, Orion, Ascension, Nyxen, Lyra, Solren, Mirielle, and the Sky Trial Skyreaver) are stronger foes tied to trial progression and lore.
• Sky Story Books each unlock a chapter of narrative tied to a specific relic; collecting all eight and combining them completes the full Sky Warden saga in Sky Story Book IX.

5. Defeat guardian bosses to earn ingredients like Storm Talon and Void Wisp, which feed into top-tier relics such as the Skyreaver Shard and Dragonstorm Fragment.
6. Use the Loot Deposit Machine to safely store trial rewards, and complete your lore collection by crafting all nine Sky Story Books.
