Orbital Cannon
Quickstart
- Get a Stellar Remote from the Creative Tools tab, or craft one in Survival. Hostile mobs have a small chance to drop the Star Fragment it needs.
- Hold the remote and press H to open the strike selector. Choose a package, aim at a patch of ground, then right-click with the remote to fire. Targets must be within 256 blocks.
- Try Kinetic Strike for a first test. Strikes can damage terrain, so pick an area you can afford to lose. Press J to skip the orbital camera.
Overview
The Stellar Remote lets you call down six different orbital strike packages. Each has its own recharge timer, shown in the selector. Strikes can cause major terrain damage and leave themed blocks behind.
What It Adds
- Stellar Remote and Star Fragment
- Six strike modes: Railgun, Kinetic Strike, Starfall, Black Hole, Divine Pillar, and Supernova
- Orbital Barrier, which protects its area from orbital strikes
- Strike aftermath blocks, including scorched stone, molten rock, cosmic rubble and glass, divine stone and glass, and Supernova Ash and Glass
How To Use
- H opens the selector; choose a mode to begin aiming.
- Aim your crosshair at the intended impact point and right-click with the remote to fire. The selector shows whether a mode is ready or recharging.
- J skips the orbital camera.
- Keep clear of the marked danger area. If you or the aimed-at point is protected by an Orbital Barrier field, the strike will not fire.
Crafting And Obtaining
Hostile mobs have a 4% chance to drop a Star Fragment. Craft the remote with the ingredients arranged as shown:
Craft an Orbital Barrier with obsidian, Orbital Crystals, and a Nether Star:
Orbital Crystals can appear in strike-scarred terrain. Supernova Glass is also craftable with quartz, blue stained glass, and an Orbital Crystal:
Abilities And Mechanics

| SS-02 Kinetic Strike | A heavy kinetic impact and shockwave. |
| SS-03 Starfall | A shower of roughly 20–25 meteors falling around the aimed area. |
| Black Hole | Creates a growing gravity well that pulls in nearby entities and, when enabled, consumes blocks before collapsing. |
| SS-05 Divine Pillar | A long, staged strike whose danger zone expands dramatically over time. |
| SS-06 Supernova | A charging, highly destructive event with Supernova-themed aftermath. |
Progression And Strategy
- Start with a small strike in an open area to learn its timing and reach before trying the larger packages.
- Use Starfall when you want a broad meteor shower; use Railgun or Kinetic Strike for a more focused impact.
- Black Hole, Divine Pillar, and Supernova are especially hazardous. Clear the area and keep valuable builds well outside the warning zone.
- Place an Orbital Barrier to protect an area. Nearby barriers strengthen and extend the protected field; barriers protect within their own dimension.
