Blazefire Greatsword

Quickstart

1. Obtain the sword from the Creative inventory under Equipment, or use: /give @s com_blazefire_greatsword_ro55tjjs:my_sword
2. Equip the Blazefire Greatsword in your hotbar.
3. Attack a mob to deal heavy melee damage.
4. Use the sword’s Use action to summon a blaze in front of you.

Overview

The Blazefire Greatsword is a powerful, single-stack melee weapon with blaze-themed abilities. It combines strong sword attacks with the ability to summon a blaze whenever you use it.

What It Adds

• Blazefire Greatsword
  • Deals 9 normal attack damage.
  • Adds 10 extra damage when a hit connects, for 19 total damage before other effects.
  • Has 500 durability.
  • Can receive sword enchantments.
  • Cannot be stacked.
  • Summons a blaze when used.

How To Use

Melee Attacks

Hold the greatsword in your main hand and attack normally. Each successful hit applies the sword’s regular attack damage and an additional 10 points of damage.

Summon a Blaze

Press the item’s Use control while holding the sword:

• Bedrock touch controls: tap the use action.
• Controller: press the use button.
• Keyboard and mouse: use the item action, usually right-click.

A blaze appears slightly in front of and above you. Leave enough room around yourself before using the ability, especially in enclosed areas.

Crafting And Obtaining

The crafting recipe uses:

• 2 blaze rods
• 1 fire charge
• 1 diamond sword
• 1 stick

Arrange the ingredients at a crafting table using the displayed recipe:

The recipe becomes available after blaze rods have been obtained. In Creative mode, the sword is available in the Equipment category.

Abilities And Mechanics

Progression And Strategy

Craft the sword after gathering blaze rods, then use it as a high-damage weapon for dangerous encounters. Its extra hit damage makes it effective against individual tough mobs, while its summon ability can create an additional source of pressure or provide a blaze for themed builds and battles.

Use the summon ability carefully around bases, wooden structures, and other areas where a hostile blaze could cause trouble. Keep a spare weapon available for extended fights so the greatsword’s durability does not leave you unprepared.
