Darkcore Blade

Quickstart

1. Craft Dark Blocks with , then use them to craft a Dark House Blueprint: .
2. Find a clear area and use the blueprint from your hotbar to deploy the Dark House. Take the displayed Dark Energy Core from its item frame; look inside for basalt as well.
3. Craft the blade with the core, a Dark Block, and basalt:

1. Equip the Darkcore Cataclysm Blade. Hit a mob for a projectile volley, use the blade while aiming at a hostile mob for its darkness effect, or sneak and use it to call down an orbital strike.

Overview

The mod centers on the Dark House, its black Dark Blocks, and the Darkcore Cataclysm Blade. The house provides the core and basalt used to craft the sword. The blade works as a melee weapon and has several combat abilities.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Deploy the house: Use the blueprint in a clear area. The house appears around your position, so leave room for it.
• Darkness: While not sneaking, use the sword while aiming along a hostile mob. The nearest suitable target in your aim is affected by darkness for 8 seconds. This ability has a cooldown of about 3.5 seconds.
• Stab shots: Hitting an entity with the sword fires a volley of three dark projectiles forward.
• Orbital Strike Cannon: Sneak and use the sword to call down a barrage and lightning at a point about 18 blocks ahead. It recharges in about 8 seconds; avoid aiming near builds you want to protect.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft Dark Blocks from obsidian and coal. Use Dark Blocks, paper, and basalt to make the blueprint, then deploy it to obtain the Dark Energy Core and find basalt inside. Combine the core, one Dark Block, and basalt to craft the blade.

The sword deals 12 melee damage, has 512 durability, and can be enchanted as a sword.
