Enchanted Nether Reaper

Quickstart

1. Gather a netherite sword and 4 amethyst_shards and 4 redstone.
2. Use a crafting table to make the Enchanted Nether Reaper:

1. Equip it in your main hand.
2. Strike a mob or other non-player entity with a health bar. The target is dealt overwhelming damage, and a successful kill grants bonus loot.
3. Check your inventory for 4 gold nuggets and 4 quartz after each successful kill.

Overview

The Enchanted Nether Reaper is a powerful, single-item weapon for hunting enemies and collecting extra Nether-themed loot. It is an epic, enchanted-looking sword with very high attack damage and a special on-hit execution effect.

How To Use

Hold the Enchanted Nether Reaper and attack a target normally.

Against non-player entities with health:

• The Reaper applies enough damage to kill almost any ordinary enemy immediately.
• When the target dies, the attacker receives 4 gold nuggets and 4 quartz directly in their inventory.
• The bonus loot is awarded only when the hit results in the target's death.

The special execution effect does not activate against players. The sword can still deal its normal weapon damage when used in combat.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the weapon at a crafting table using one diamond sword and one netherite ingot. Place the diamond sword above the netherite ingot in the recipe. The recipe unlocks when you have access to a diamond sword.

The Reaper can also be found in the Creative inventory under equipment.

Abilities And Mechanics

Nether Reaping

Hitting a non-player entity with a health component triggers the Reaper's special attack. If the target dies from the attack and the attacker is still present, the attacker receives:

• 4 gold nuggets
• 4 quartz

Targets that cannot receive damage or do not have health are not affected by the execution effect.

Durability

The Enchanted Nether Reaper has 2031 durability. Its durability damage can vary between 50% and 100% of the normal durability cost when it is used.

Enchanting

The Reaper is enchantable as a sword and has a high enchantability value. Its built-in glint does not require you to add an enchantment.

Repairing

Repair the Reaper with netherite ingots. Each netherite ingot restores up to 1016 durability.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the Reaper after obtaining diamond and netherite equipment.
• Use it to clear hostile mobs quickly and collect a steady supply of gold nuggets and quartz.
• Keep netherite ingots available if you plan to use the weapon extensively.
• Because it is unstackable, reserve a dedicated inventory slot for it.
• Use caution around other players: the bonus execution effect excludes players, but the sword still has extremely high normal attack damage.
