Senbonzakura Petal Blade

Quickstart

1. Open a crafting table and make the Senbonzakura Petal Blade with pink dye, amethyst shards, a diamond, and a stick.

1. Equip the blade in your hotbar.
2. Attack any target with the blade. Every successful hit releases cherry blossom petals, deals additional magic damage, and briefly slows the target.
3. Try it against several enemies to see the petal burst and slowing effect in action.

You can also find the blade in the Creative inventory under Equipment.

Overview

The Senbonzakura Petal Blade is a sword that combines strong melee damage with a magical cherry-blossom effect. Striking an entity scatters petals around the target and applies a short slowing effect.

How To Use

Hold the blade in your main hand and attack an entity normally. The special effect activates automatically when you hit a target; no separate key or right-click interaction is required.

Each successful hit:

• Spawns cherry blossom petals around the target.
• Deals 3 additional magic damage.
• Applies Slowness I for 2 seconds.

The blade deals its regular melee damage in addition to the magical petal damage.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the blade at a crafting table using:

• 1 pink dye
• 2 amethyst shards
• 1 diamond
• 1 stick

The recipe produces one Senbonzakura Petal Blade. In Creative mode, it is available in the Equipment category.

Abilities And Mechanics

Petal Burst

When the blade hits an entity, a cherry blossom particle burst appears above the target. This visual effect marks the blade’s special attack.

Magical Cut

The petal burst deals an extra 3 points of magic damage to the entity hit. This damage is separate from the blade’s base attack damage.

Slowing Strike

Targets hit by the blade receive Slowness I for 2 seconds, making it easier to keep enemies at a manageable distance or land follow-up attacks.

Durability And Repair

The blade has 2,031 durability and loses durability during use. It can be repaired with iron ingots; each iron ingot can restore up to 508 durability. It is also compatible with sword enchantments.
