Description
The Void Bin is now a single-block (1x1x1) placeable trash can that permanently destroys any items placed on or inside it with no way to recover them. Dropped items that land on the block are automatically voided every quarter second with a satisfying destruction sound and swirling smoke and portal particles, and you can instantly delete an entire held stack by right-clicking the Void Bin while holding the item.

Quickstart
- Craft a Void Bin using iron ingots (recipe below) — you'll find it in the Functional Blocks creative tab.
- Place it anywhere in the world like a normal block.
- Right-click the Void Bin while holding any item to instantly destroy the entire stack.
- Alternatively, drop items directly onto the block and they'll be automatically voided within a quarter second.
Overview
The Void Bin is a compact, single-block trash can that permanently deletes items. Once an item is voided, it is gone forever — there is no undo, no recovery, and no inventory to manage. It's the cleanest way to dispose of unwanted items in your world.
What It Adds
- Void Bin — a placeable 1×1×1 block that destroys any items it comes into contact with, complete with a custom destruction sound and swirling smoke and portal particle effects.
How To Use
Right-Click Deletion
Hold any item stack in your hand and right-click the Void Bin. The entire held stack is instantly deleted.
Drop-Based Deletion
Throw items onto the top of the Void Bin by dropping them (default: Q). Any item entity resting on the block is automatically destroyed every quarter second. You'll hear the destruction sound and see particle effects confirming the void.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft the Void Bin with 5 iron ingots arranged in a U-shape (two columns of two on the sides, one across the bottom):
The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world. The Void Bin item can also be found in the Functional Blocks creative tab.

Progression And Strategy
- Place the Void Bin near your sorting system or storage room for quick disposal of junk loot and crafting byproducts.
- Use right-click deletion when you want to clear a specific stack without accidentally voiding nearby drops.
- Drop an entire inventory of unwanted items onto the Void Bin to clear it in seconds — the auto-void ticks fast enough to handle large amounts without intervention.
- Because deletions are permanent, consider double-checking valuable items before tossing them nearby; any item that lands on the block will be gone.
How to install
This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
