Description
Tornado Fury turns the Overworld into a place where dangerous, roaming tornadoes threaten villages and players. You get tools to track, survive, and recover from these storms: a personal tracker device, protective gear that shields you from wind and lets you glide, village fortification that automatically hardens homes near a bell, and a dedicated villager profession that trades storm-related gear.
Tornado Tracker Device: Right-click to open a detailed tracker report. Simply holding it in either hand gives you periodic status updates automatically.
Wind Surfer & Glide Armor: Equip like normal armor. Wind Surfer armor is durable and comfortable for everyday storm survival. Glide armor's chestplate grants gliding, letting you soar away from danger or descend safely from height.
Wind Goggles: Wear as a helmet-slot item for a lightweight alternative to full armor.
Storm Gear Repair Kit: While wearing damaged Wind Surfer or Glide armor, use the repair kit to restore durability to all four pieces at once. It's consumed on use.
Emergency Ration: Eat like normal food for a decent nutrition boost during long storm chases.
Tornado Safety Guide: Read it like any written book for lore and survival tips.
Tornado Hunter Villagers: Find or create one by using the Tornado Hunter Spawn Egg on a villager near a cartography table. Trade emeralds, gold, or storm materials for gear, rations, and rare storm crystals as their trading level increases.
Village Bell Hardening: No action needed beyond walking near a village bell — the surrounding area is automatically checked and reinforced once per village.
Creative Testing Tool: In Creative Mode, use this item to bring up storm-testing controls: force-spawn a tornado at your location or where you're looking, spawn a safety bunker, adjust the tornado countdown timer, ring the warning bell, evacuate villagers, or manipulate the storm-recovery healing speed.
Core gear and tools are crafted using standard Minecraft materials combined with mod-specific components like Wind Essence, Storm Crystal, and Silver Ingot.

Wind Surfer and Glide armor pieces can also be repaired using Wind Essence, Storm Crystal, or Silver Ingot at an anvil, and some pieces occasionally appear in village armorer, tannery, savanna, plains, snowy, and taiga house loot chests.
Early on, rely on your starter Tornado Tracker Device and basic gear like the Emergency Ration and Tornado Safety Guide while you locate a village with a Tornado Hunter villager. Trade emeralds for Wind Surfer gear and repair kits as you level up the villager's trades. Once you've gathered enough Silver Ingot, Wind Essence, and Storm Crystal, craft or trade for full Glide armor to gain aerial mobility and stronger protection against the fiercest storms. Keep repair kits on hand to maintain your gear between tornado encounters, and use the tracker constantly to stay ahead of incoming storms.
