Quickstart

Craft an Astral Core in a crafting table:

Use it to surround a netherite sword and make The Blade Of Infinite Astral Superiority: . Put the blade in your hand and try attacking, then test its special controls below. The key defaults can be changed under Options → Controls → Astral Blade Controls.

Important: Carrying either astral sword in your hands or inventory makes you take 1,000 times normal damage unless you wear the complete astral armor set. Consider crafting the set before carrying a blade around in Survival.

Overview

Omniscience is built around powerful astral gear: two swords, a pickaxe, armor, and crafting cores. The regular blade grants extreme combat strength and several world-changing abilities. The ultimate sword, named *****, unlocks additional commands and dimension travel.

What It Adds

• The Blade Of Infinite Astral Superiority and ***** astral swords.
• An astral pickaxe and four armor pieces.
• Eight crafting cores used to make and upgrade the gear.
• Controls for explosions, teleportation, flight, time effects, entity manipulation, and travel between dimensions.

How To Use

These are the default keys; rebind them in Controls if needed. “Use” means your Use Item key (usually right-click), and “Attack” means your Attack key (usually left-click).

The regular blade must be in your hand for its basic abilities. The ***** sword enables the advanced actions while carried. The command panel has buttons for the same advanced actions, including Explosion, Teleport, Erase Entities, Gather Entities, Fast Time, Slow Time, Clear Modes, Flight, and Dimensions. Dimension selection sends you to the chosen dimension’s spawn area.

The explosion does not break blocks. Entity-erasing and gathering actions affect the current dimension and can include other players and dropped items.

Crafting And Obtaining

Build up the cores for the ultimate sword through these recipes:

• Eight netherite blocks around a nether star make a Netherite Core: .
• Blaze rods and ender pearls around a Netherite Core make a Nether Core: .
• A dragon egg, chorus fruit, and ender eyes make an Ender Core: .
• Meat, fish, and a totem of undying make a Life Core: .
• Large ferns, stone, bedrock, and a Life Core make an Overworld Core: .
• Recovery compasses, echo shards, a sculk catalyst, and a silence armor trim smithing template make a Sift Core: .
• Eight Astral Cores around a Netherite Core make a Glitched Core: .

Combine the regular blade with a Nether Core, Ender Core, Overworld Core, Sift Core, and Glitched Core to craft *****: .

An Astral Core also upgrades netherite equipment. Use one with a netherite pickaxe for the astral pickaxe: . Upgrade each netherite armor piece the same way: chestplate , helmet , leggings , and boots .

Abilities And Mechanics

• Swords: Both astral swords deal enormous damage, attack extremely quickly, and knock targets back. A landed hit also launches you upward. While wielding a blade, you gain strong Jump Boost and Speed; attackers who damage you are struck by a powerful thorns effect.
• Blade abilities: Use the explosion, teleport, tick-freeze, and flight controls. Teleportation follows your line of sight toward a block or open space.
• Time modes: Freezing stops world ticks. The ultimate sword can instead set the tick speed to 1000 or 1; use Clear Modes to restore normal speed and unfreeze time.
• Astral armor: Wearing any one piece grants Regeneration. Wearing all four matching pieces makes you immune to damage, including the severe damage penalty from carrying an astral sword.
• Astral pickaxe: Mine blocks normally, or crouch while starting to break a block to erase the entire chunk vertically. This removes its blocks and non-player entities, so use it with care. To mine bedrock, hold Attack while continuously aiming at it and staying within reach for 18,000 uninterrupted ticks (about 15 minutes at normal tick speed). The bedrock is then removed and given to you.

Progression And Strategy

Craft the Astral Core and regular blade first to explore the core abilities. Before keeping either sword on you in Survival, make and equip the full astral armor set—the damage immunity is essential. Then gather the cores needed for ***** to access entity-wide actions, time-speed controls, the command panel, and dimension travel. Use the pickaxe’s chunk-erasing action cautiously; it can clear a large area at once.
