Tenfold Hearts
Quickstart
Craft a heart, then right-click it in your hand to equip it. For a sturdy first pick, try the Heart of Vitality:
Once equipped:
- Press C to cycle through your equipped hearts and select a power.
- Press R to activate the selected heart’s power.
- Press V to unequip the selected heart; it returns to your inventory.
You can equip up to 20 different hearts. Check the heart’s tooltip for its passive effect and power cooldown.
Overview
Tenfold Hearts adds 20 craftable hearts, each with a passive benefit and a special power. Every equipped heart gives you one extra heart of health; some also grant additional health or other bonuses.
Be careful: when you die, your equipped hearts drop. Recover them from where you fell if you want to equip them again.
What It Adds
Hearts appear above the health bar, with the selected heart highlighted. Equipping a heart grants its passive effect; using R activates its power, if it is ready.

Crafting And Obtaining
Craft hearts using the recipes below. A player credited with defeating the Ender Dragon, Wither, Warden, or Elder Guardian is also rewarded with a random heart they have not yet claimed.

How To Use
- Right-click a heart item to equip or unequip it. Unequipping returns the item.
- C selects the next equipped heart’s power. Equipping a heart selects it automatically.
- R activates the selected power. Powers recharge after their listed cooldown.
- V removes the selected heart from your equipped set.
- You can equip at most 20 hearts. Each type can only be equipped once at a time.
Keybinds can be changed in your controls settings.
Abilities And Mechanics
Most powers aim in the direction you are looking. Heart of Frost requires you to be standing still and looking at a mob. Heart of Time has two modes: use R normally for a personal speed and mining boost, or sneak + R to freeze nearby foes. Use /time addperson <player> to exempt an ally from the freeze, and /time removeperson <player> to remove that exemption.
The Void Heart also provides home commands while equipped: use /void sethome to save your location, then /void teleportation home to return there. Its passive lets you throw Ender Pearls without consuming them.
Some powers affect the world around you: the Heart of Earth raises a wall, the Nether Heart transforms nearby ground, and the Sculk Heart leaves sculk along its sonic boom’s path.
Progression And Strategy
Choose hearts to suit the situation: Air helps with falls and short flights, Tide aids underwater exploration, and Luck can turn nearby ores into valuable drops. Vitality adds substantial health and regeneration; Diamond offers armor and damage reduction.
Powers can be used alongside passive effects from all your equipped hearts, so combine useful passives—but weigh that against the risk. On death, equipped hearts drop at your location, so plan how you’ll recover them before taking a dangerous fight.
How to install
This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
