Quickstart

1. Craft the Sharpshot Rifle using the recipe below.
2. Hold the rifle and press and hold use (right-click / hold the aim button) to fire a devastating long-range laser shot.
3. Sneak (crouch) while holding the rifle to steady your aim — this slows your movement heavily so you can line up precise shots.
4. Look for the Mini Gun, an equippable secondary weapon that unleashes a fast, continuous barrage of laser shots instead of a single heavy blast.
5. Watch your cooldowns — the rifle needs a few seconds to recharge between shots, while the Mini Gun keeps firing in rapid bursts as long as you hold it down.

Overview

Sniper Rifle turns two special weapons into powerful ranged tools: a precision Sharpshot Rifle for devastating single shots, and a rapid-fire Mini Gun for sustained laser barrages. Both weapons fire visible laser beams that can strike enemies at extreme range, cutting through the air with muzzle flashes, smoke, and explosive impact effects.

How To Use

• Aiming and Firing: Hold either weapon in your hand and use it like a bow — hold down the use action to charge and fire.
• Sneak to Steady: Crouching while holding the Sharpshot Rifle greatly slows your movement, simulating a stabilized sniper stance for more accurate long-range engagement.
• Rifle Behavior: The Sharpshot Rifle fires a single, extremely powerful laser beam that can travel very long distances and deal heavy damage to anything it hits, including large bosses. It has a noticeable cooldown between shots, so use it for well-aimed, high-impact strikes.
• Mini Gun Behavior: The Mini Gun fires in rapid bursts, unleashing multiple shots in quick succession with only a short cooldown between bursts. It trades single-shot power for sustained damage output, making it effective against groups of enemies or prolonged fights.
• Visual and Audio Feedback: Both weapons produce muzzle flash effects, laser beam trails, and explosion particles at the point of impact, along with a firing sound, giving clear feedback on when and where your shots land.
• Large Enemies: Both weapons are tuned to reliably hit large mobs (such as the Ender Dragon, Ghast, Iron Golem, Ravager, and Warden) even when aiming near their bigger hitboxes.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Sharpshot Rifle at a crafting table using iron ingots, an iron block, redstone, and a stick:

The Mini Gun is not obtained through crafting — it can be acquired through creative inventory or other in-game means, and behaves as a rare, equippable ranged weapon.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Both weapons occupy the hand slot and use a bow-style charging animation.
• Firing slows player movement while the weapon is in use, reflecting the weight and focus needed to operate them.
• The Sharpshot Rifle has a several-second cooldown between shots, rewarding careful aim over spamming.
• The Mini Gun fires much faster with a short cooldown, favoring continuous pressure over single decisive hits.
• Laser shots travel through the air and can strike multiple types of enemies at range, dealing damage on contact with a visible impact explosion.

Progression And Strategy

Use the Sharpshot Rifle when you need to eliminate a target from a distance with a single powerful shot — ideal for snipeing dangerous enemies before they close in. Switch to the Mini Gun when facing multiple enemies or when you need to maintain constant offensive pressure, since its rapid-fire bursts make up for lower per-shot damage. Combining sneak-aiming with the rifle for precision kills and the Mini Gun for suppression gives you a flexible loadout for both careful sniping and sustained combat.
