Reality Mining Tool

Quickstart

1. Obtain the tool from the Tools tab in Creative mode, or craft it at a crafting table.
2. Equip it in your main hand.
3. Left-click a block to mine it, including blocks vanilla normally refuses to break such as bedrock and barriers.
4. Right-click a block to remove it immediately, including fluid blocks such as lava.
5. Right-click empty space to clear nearby lightning and lingering effect clouds.

To craft the Reality Mining Tool:

The tool is a single-stack, pickaxe-type item with a glowing enchantment effect.

Overview

The Reality Mining Tool is an extreme mining tool that can remove almost any block. It works on ordinary blocks as well as protected or normally indestructible blocks, including:

• Bedrock
• Barrier blocks
• Nether portals
• End portal frames
• Command blocks
• Other blocks that normal mining rules reject

Block drops are sent to your inventory. If your inventory is full, excess drops appear at your position instead.

How To Use

Left-click mining

Hold the tool and left-click a block. The tool uses normal mining interaction where possible and can also remove blocks that Minecraft normally considers unbreakable.

Use this for clearing areas or mining through barriers without switching tools.

Right-clicking a block

Right-click a block while holding the tool to remove it immediately. This also works on fluid blocks, making it useful for clearing lava.

The targeted block is removed and its available drops are collected.

Right-clicking empty space

Right-click while not targeting a block to remove nearby:

• Lightning entities
• Lingering area-effect clouds

The effect reaches entities within approximately 32 blocks of you. It does not remove ordinary weather or every entity in the area.

Crafting And Obtaining

In Survival mode, craft one Reality Mining Tool using:

• Obsidian
• A Nether Star
• Diamond blocks
• An Echo Shard
• A Diamond Pickaxe

In Creative mode, find it in the Tools item group.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Functions as a pickaxe.
• Can break any block, including protected blocks that normally cannot be mined.
• Has extremely high mining speed.
• Always qualifies as the correct tool for block drops.
• Displays a permanent glint.
• Holds one item per stack.
• Takes durability damage when it uses its protected-block fallback.
• Drops are inserted into your inventory whenever possible.

Progression And Strategy

The Reality Mining Tool is expensive to craft, so reserve it for tasks that ordinary tools cannot handle:

• Create passages through bedrock.
• Remove barriers from test areas.
• Clear lava-filled spaces.
• Dismantle portal structures.
• Recover drops from blocks that normal mining rejects.
• Clean up lightning or lingering effect clouds around builds and arenas.

Keep free inventory space available when mining valuable or unusual blocks so their drops can be collected directly.
