Quickstart

1. Craft the Triple Timber Axe using the recipe below.
2. Equip it in your main hand.
3. Chop any log-type block on a tree — the entire tree, trunk and branches alike, comes down in one swing.
4. Collect the drops as they fall and keep chopping until the axe wears out or you run out of trees.

Overview

The Triple Timber Axe is a single powerful tool that turns tree-felling into a one-hit job. Instead of chopping log by log, a single swing brings down the whole connected tree around the block you hit — trunks, branches, and even nearby trees within reach — while still behaving like a normal axe for combat and other axe uses.

How To Use

• Hold the Triple Timber Axe and break any log block belonging to a tree.
• The axe automatically detects all connected logs in that tree (including logs from other trees growing close enough to touch or overlap) and breaks them all instantly.
• Every log is broken using the normal harvesting rules, so you still get normal drops, experience, advancement progress, and any enchantment effects (like Fortune) applied to the axe.
• If the axe breaks partway through felling a tree, the felling stops immediately — keep an eye on durability if you're clearing a big grove.
• Outside of tree-felling, it works as a standard axe: it can strip logs, mine axe-appropriate blocks, and be used in combat like any other axe.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Chain felling: Breaking one log searches outward through all directly touching log blocks, so an entire tree (and any trees whose branches touch it) falls at once.
• Wide detection range: The axe scans a generous radius around the block you break to find the start of nearby trees, then follows their logs outward to fell the full structure, even parts far from where you swung.
• Vanilla-accurate drops: Every log removed this way is harvested the same way as a normal player-broken block, so tool durability loss, loot, and enchantments all apply normally per log.
• Single-stack tool: The axe cannot be stacked — you carry and swing one at a time.

Progression And Strategy

Bring the Triple Timber Axe when you need to clear large areas of forest quickly, such as for building projects or gathering large amounts of wood in one trip. Because durability is spent per log broken (just like a normal axe), pair it with Unbreaking or Mending enchantments if you plan to fell many trees in a single session, and watch your durability bar so you don't get stranded mid-tree.
