Quickstart

1. Craft the Darkweb Terminal block (recipes unlock automatically when you join the world) and place it anywhere. Right-click it to open the terminal interface, create an account, and access the Mothership — the central dark-web marketplace.
2. Buy a Dealer from the Mothership. After the purchase, a Henchman materialises from a smoke cloud, slowly walks toward you, hands you a Dealer Spawn Egg, then vanishes.
3. Place the Dealer Spawn Egg on the ground to spawn your Dealer NPC. The Dealer stands still and faces the nearest player.
4. Craft a Dark Chat item, right-click it, log in with your terminal account, and start chatting anonymously.

Overview

Darkweb Terminal adds a clandestine underground economy to your server. Players create anonymous accounts at a placeable terminal block, browse a shady marketplace called the Mothership, purchase custom merchant NPCs called Dealers, configure their trade offers, and communicate secretly using encrypted Dark Chat devices. A Police System item lets designated players investigate accounts and crack security codes to unmask darkweb activity.

How To Use

Darkweb Terminal Block

Place the terminal anywhere; it faces the direction you are looking. Right-click to open it. You are first prompted for an account login or to create a new account. Once logged in you reach the Mothership — the main darkweb shop where you can buy Dealers and browse other offerings.

Breaking the block drops it as an item. Both axes and pickaxes work for mining it.

Buying a Dealer from the Mothership

Inside the Mothership's purchase interface, select a Dealer listing and complete the payment. The GUI closes, a large smoke cloud appears near you, and after a short delay a Henchman materialises with a teleport sound. He walks slowly toward you and hands over the Dealer Spawn Egg (or drops it on the ground if your inventory is full), then dissolves back into smoke.

Spawning and Configuring a Dealer

Use the Dealer Spawn Egg on any solid surface to place your Dealer. The egg retains the Dealer's name, trade offers, assigned account, and skin data, so the spawned Dealer is already configured.

To edit a live Dealer: sneak + right-click the Dealer entity. This opens the Dealer Editor, where you can:

• Edit the Dealer's name (displayed inside the GUI only; no name tag floats above the NPC).
• Create and manage trade offers — place items into the offer slots, set amounts, and press Save. Select an offer on the left list and press Delete to remove it.
• Assign a darkweb account to the Dealer so revenues are tracked.
• Pack the Dealer using the Pack button. The Dealer entity disappears and you receive an updated Dealer Spawn Egg containing all current settings, so you can redeploy or transport the Dealer.

Trading with a Dealer

Right-click a Dealer (without sneaking) to open the trading window. Browse the available offers, place required payment items in the Payment slot, and collect the Output.

Dark Chat

Right-click the Dark Chat item to open a login page. Sign in with a darkweb terminal account. Once logged in you reach the general chat and a Chat List:

• Plus (+) — creates a new private chat locally and opens it.
• X — removes a chat and returns to the Mothership view.
• Scroll through messages with the mouse wheel.
• Long contact names are shortened automatically.
• Messages are synchronised server-wide and support up to 8 192 characters.

Police System

Right-click the Police System item to open the investigation interface. Select a target account to view its details. To unlock sensitive information you must decode a security code manually:

1. Reverse the code string.
2. Shift every letter forward by 1 (A → B, Z → A).
3. Shift every digit back by 2 (0 → 8, 1 → 9).

Enter your decoded answer and press Check to confirm.

Admin Tool

Right-click the Admin Tool to open an admin panel that lists all registered accounts and allows management actions such as locking, unlocking, changing passwords, deleting accounts, and assigning or reassigning Dealers.

Crafting And Obtaining

All three crafting recipes unlock automatically for every player when they join the world — they will appear in your recipe book immediately.

The Dealer Spawn Egg, Admin Tool, and Henchman are obtained through gameplay (purchasing from the Mothership or server-admin distribution) and are not craftable.

Abilities And Mechanics

Dealer NPC

• Completely stationary; only rotates to look at the nearest player.
• Can display a custom skin tied to a player UUID or use one of the built-in skin variants.
• Globally tracked by the server even when the chunk is unloaded, so the Mothership dealer list is always up to date.

Henchman NPC

• Appears only as a delivery courier after a Mothership purchase.
• Spawns invisible, then materialises after a short smoke build-up.
• Moves at reduced speed toward the buyer and delivers the Dealer Spawn Egg directly into their inventory (drops it at the player's feet if full).
• Vanishes in a burst of smoke after delivery.

Accounts

• Accounts are created at the Darkweb Terminal block.
• Accounts can be password-protected, locked/unlocked, and deleted.
• Each Dealer can be assigned to one account to track sales revenue and inventory.

Progression And Strategy

• Start anonymous. Create your darkweb account before buying anything; your account is what ties you to your Dealers and chat identity.
• Invest in Dealers early. Each Dealer you buy from the Mothership costs resources, but once deployed and stocked it can sell items passively to other players.
• Pack Dealers to move them. If you need to relocate a Dealer, use the Pack button in the editor to recover the Spawn Egg without losing any offers or settings.
• Use Dark Chat for coordination. Private chats are local client-side entries — no server record exists until a message is sent — making them useful for secret planning.
• Evade the Police System. The decoding puzzle requires manual effort, so investigators with the Police System item must solve codes by hand. Keeping multiple accounts or distributing activity across different Dealers makes tracing harder.
• Admin oversight. Server operators with the Admin Tool can monitor all accounts, freeze suspicious ones, and reassign rogue Dealers, providing a balance of power against anonymous players.
