Description
Load into a world with the mod enabled and look at living creatures. A floating label above each visible creature shows its current health and maximum health in hearts, such as 8/10 ♥. There’s no item to craft or action to activate.
Overhead Hearts lets you check how hurt a creature is without opening a menu or attacking it. The label appears above living entities, including players, and is hidden for invisible or dead entities. Blocks between you and a creature can obscure its label.
Read the label as current hearts / maximum hearts. Minecraft counts 2 health points as 1 heart, so unusual health values may appear with one decimal place.
The label’s color reflects the creature’s remaining health:
The color is a quick guide; the numbers show the exact current and maximum heart values.
