Quickstart

1. Craft Mjolnir at a Crafting Table using the recipe below.
2. Hold it in your hand like a sword — it deals 9.0 attack damage.
3. Head outside during rain (or get yourself wet) and start swinging at enemies. Each hit has a chance to call down a lightning bolt on your target.
4. For the big move: hold right-click to channel a localized storm. A sound plays on activation, nearby enemies get repeatedly struck by lightning, and you gain Resistance while channeling. Release when done. The ability has a 30-second cooldown.

Overview

Mjolnir is an epic-rarity melee hammer with storm-calling powers. It hits hard on its own, but truly shines in wet conditions — rain or water turns every swing into a potential lightning strike. Its channeling ability lets you summon a localized storm around you, blasting groups of nearby enemies with repeated lightning bolts while keeping yourself protected.

How To Use

Melee Attacks

Swing normally to deal 9.0 damage. While you are in rain or otherwise wet, each hit has a random chance to summon a lightning bolt directly on the struck enemy.

Storm Channel (Right-Click Hold)

Hold right-click to begin channeling:

• A thunder sound plays immediately on activation.
• While channeling, a storm strikes all nearby living enemies with lightning bolts in repeated waves.
• The sound replays each wave when enemies are hit.
• You gain the Resistance effect for the duration of the channel.
• The storm continues for a short burst even after you finish the full channel animation, then stops automatically.
• Releasing early or switching items also stops the storm.
• Cooldown: 30 seconds between uses.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The lightning bolts are real Minecraft lightning — they deal damage, can ignite, and will interact with the world as normal lightning does.
• Slowing your movement while channeling is expected; movement speed is reduced during the hold.

Progression And Strategy

• Early use: Even without rain, Mjolnir's 9.0 base damage makes it a powerful melee weapon right away.
• Storm synergy: Fight outdoors during rainstorms to maximize the passive lightning proc on every swing.
• Channel timing: Save the Storm Channel for groups of enemies — the area lightning waves deal significant damage to clustered mobs. Use the Resistance buff to tank hits while the storm does its work.
• Cooldown management: The 30-second cooldown means you want to trigger the channel when surrounded, not for single targets.
• Repairs: Keep Netherite Ingots on hand for repairs; Mjolnir takes durability on every hit.
• Enchanting: Mjolnir accepts sword enchantments, so Sharpness, Looting, and Unbreaking all apply — Unbreaking is especially recommended given its combat-heavy use.
