Quickstart

1. Craft the Midas Choice Apple using the recipe below (or find it already unlocked in your recipe book when you join a world).
2. Hold the apple in either hand and right-click to open the Midas Choice menu.
3. Pick a material — Gold, Diamond, Netherite, Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, or Emerald.
4. Start walking around. The ground beneath your feet will transform into blocks of your chosen material for a limited time!

Overview

The Midas Choice Apple is a magical golden apple that lets you choose which precious material your footsteps turn into. Instead of a fixed "golden touch," you get to pick from six different materials each time you activate it, turning ordinary terrain into valuable resources as you walk.

What It Adds

• Midas Choice Apple – a single-use-per-activation enchanted item that grants a temporary "Midas Touch" effect.
• A material selection screen that opens when you use the apple, letting you choose the transformation material.
• A special touch effect that converts solid blocks under and around your feet into blocks of your chosen material.

How To Use

• Right-click the apple while holding it to bring up the selection screen.
• Choose one of six materials: Gold, Diamond, Netherite, Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, or Emerald.
• Once selected, the effect activates immediately and lasts for about 60 seconds.
• While active, simply walk around — solid ground blocks near your feet (a small area around you) will be converted into the chosen material's block (e.g. Gold Block, Diamond Block, Netherite Block, Redstone Block, Lapis Block, or Emerald Block).
• Indestructible or special blocks like bedrock, barriers, and command blocks are never affected, so your world's important structures stay safe.
• The apple itself is not consumed when used — it stays in your inventory, glowing like an enchanted item, ready to be triggered again once you want another burst of transformation.
• A message will appear on your screen telling you when the Midas Touch activates and when it wears off.
