    Description:

Type /shop to open a client-side, paginated multi-tab shop GUI with picture-backed listings, item detail pages, and buy/sell menus across Building Blocks, Food & Farming, Mob Droppings, Special & Rare, Resources & Redstone, and Tools & Armor. The shop uses a persistent per-player currency (no scoreboard objective) so balances save between sessions; prices have been adjusted (Building Blocks, Food & Farming, Mob Droppings, Special & Rare, and Tools & Armor generally higher, Resources & Redstone unchanged), Food & Farming and Mob Droppings listings add +3 to buy/sell values, every mob head buys at 50,000 and Elytra are buy-only at 15,000. Selling works correctly for any amount — Sell 1, Sell 16, and Sell All calculate totals from the items actually sold, credit your balance before removing items to avoid loss, and display the credited amount and updated balance in chat plus an immediate action-bar confirmation. A craftable admin tool opens a special admin menu for players with the admin tag where up to 10 persistent bottom action-bar lines can be edited using placeholders like player, money, and coins, and the in-shop help has been updated to reflect the new per-player balance system.

    Marketcraft Shop

    Quickstart

    1. Join any world with the mod installed.
    2. Type /shop in chat to open the shop menu immediately — no items required.
    3. Your starting coin balance is shown at the top of the shop window.
    4. Pick a category tab, browse listings, select an item, then choose Buy or Sell from the item detail page.
    5. To sell items, make sure you have them in your inventory, then use Sell 1, Sell 16, or Sell All — your coins are credited instantly and the sold amount is confirmed in chat and on your action bar.

    Overview

Marketcraft Shop adds a full in-game player shop accessible with a single command. It provides a multi-tab, picture-backed GUI where you can spend and earn a persistent per-player coin currency by buying and selling hundreds of vanilla items across six categories. Your balance saves between sessions automatically — no scoreboards involved.

    Scoreboard UI (Admin Tool)

A craftable item that grants server admins access to a persistent action-bar display editor.

    How To Use

    Opening the Shop

Type /shop at any time. The main shop window shows your current coin balance and the six category buttons. Select a category to browse its listings.

    Buying Items

    1. Select a category tab.
    2. Browse the paginated listing and tap any item picture.
    3. On the item detail page, choose Buy.
    4. Confirm the purchase. The items are delivered to your inventory (overflow drops at your feet if your inventory is full) and the cost is deducted from your balance.

    Selling Items

    1. Open the shop and navigate to the item you want to sell.
    2. Choose Sell 1, Sell 16, or Sell All.
    3. The mod counts only the items you actually have, credits your balance first, then removes the items. The amount credited and your new balance appear in chat, with an action-bar confirmation.

    Coin Balance

Your coin balance is stored per-player and persists across sessions. You can check it at any time by opening /shop — your balance is displayed at the top of the main menu.

    Crafting And Obtaining

    Scoreboard UI

The admin tool is crafted at a crafting table:

    minecraft:paper
    minecraft:emerald
    minecraft:paper
    minecraft:redstone
    minecraft:compass
    minecraft:redstone
    minecraft:gold_ingot
    Arrow
    com_marketcraft_shop_r25zv2fp:scoreboard_ui

Carry this item and use (right-click / hold) it to open the admin menu. The menu is only functional for players who have the admin tag.

    Abilities And Mechanics

    Pricing Notes

    • Food & Farming and Mob Droppings items have a +3 bonus added to both buy and sell values.
    • Resources & Redstone prices are the base rates with no adjustment.
    • Building Blocks, Special & Rare, and Tools & Armor items are priced at higher general rates.
    • Mob Heads have a buy price of 50,000 coins each.
    • Elytra is available for purchase only (no selling) at 3,500 coins.

    Sell Safety

When you sell items, the mod credits your coins before removing anything from your inventory. This means you will never lose items without receiving payment, even if something unexpected occurs.

    Admin Action-Bar Editor

Players with the admin tag can use the Scoreboard UI item to open an admin menu. From here, up to 10 persistent lines can be set for the bottom action bar, visible to all players on the server. Lines support the following placeholders:

    PlaceholderShows
    {player} / %player%Player's name
    {money} / %money%Player's coin balance
    {coins} / %coins%Player's coin balance

Lines update dynamically for each player.

    Progression And Strategy

    • Early on, focus on selling Mob Droppings and Food & Farming items as they earn a small bonus per sale, making routine mob farming and crop harvesting consistently profitable.
    • Use the Resources & Redstone tab to buy ores and raw materials when a mining run comes up short.
    • Save up for high-value purchases: a mob head costs 50,000 coins, so treat these as long-term goals.
    • Elytra cannot be sold back — treat the 3,500-coin purchase as a one-way investment.
    • Admins can use the action-bar display to broadcast server-wide economy stats (live coin balances, player names) to keep the community engaged with the economy.
