Quickstart

1. Open your crafting table and craft a Golemheart Apple using the recipe below.
2. Hold the apple and right-click to eat it — you can eat it even with a full hunger bar.
3. Watch for the result: a 50% chance an Iron Golem spawns in front of you to fight by your side. If you hear a fizzing sound, the summoning failed this time — try again with another apple!

Overview

The Golemheart Apple is a rare enchanted food item that glows with a magical shimmer and displays its name in epic purple text. Crafted from iron, redstone, and a Golden Apple, it serves as both a modest meal and a gamble for a powerful iron bodyguard. Each apple eaten is a coin flip — ally or disappointment.

What It Adds

The apple is tagged as a food item and appears in the Food and Drinks creative tab.

How To Use

• Right-click while holding the apple to begin eating. The eating animation starts immediately with no delay.
• The apple can be consumed even when your hunger bar is full, making it usable at any time.
• Upon finishing the apple, one of two things happens:
  • Success (50%): A friendly Iron Golem spawns a couple of blocks in front of you, accompanied by happy villager particles and a metallic repair sound.
  • Failure (50%): A muffled extinguishing sound plays — no golem this time.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Hunger restored: 4 hunger points (2 drumsticks) with high saturation.
• Always edible: Can be eaten regardless of current hunger level.
• Enchantment glint: The item glows with an enchanted shimmer in your inventory.
• Summoned Iron Golem: Marked as player-created, meaning it will not attack you and will defend you from hostile mobs just like a village-spawned golem. The golem persists in the world as a normal entity until it is defeated.

• Stack up before big fights: Since the summoning has a 50% chance, carrying several apples improves your odds of getting a golem when you need one most.
• Full-hunger eating: Because the apple is always edible, you can eat it immediately when danger strikes — no need to drain your hunger bar first.
• Golem persistence: Summoned golems remain in the world; consider luring them back to your base for ongoing protection, or use them as disposable tank allies in dangerous areas.
