Gilded Prismarine Keep

Quickstart

  1. Obtain the Structure Wand from the Creative inventory, or use /give @s gilded-prismarine-keep-p5lnaqag:structure_wand.
  2. Find a large, open building site. The full keep occupies roughly a 500×500-block footprint.
  3. Equip the wand and use it while aiming at the ground or another block. The wand launches a projectile toward your aim point.
  4. When the projectile hits, the keep begins appearing at the impact location, oriented according to your facing.
  5. Watch the enchantment-particle animation and wait for the large placement to finish. The wand has a short cooldown and can be used again.

For a more controlled placement, use the client command /structure build gilded_prismarine_keep. Add a size from 16 to 256 to scale the structure, such as /structure build gilded_prismarine_keep 128. Use /structure list to view available structures.

Overview

Gilded Prismarine Keep is a massive fortified royal estate designed as a complete build rather than a collection of craftable parts. It includes:

  • A perimeter wall, towers, gatehouse, drawbridge, and moat
  • A central quartz keep with multiple themed interior wings
  • A great hall, throne rooms, ballroom, dining hall, library, and bedchambers
  • Formal gardens, courtyards, barracks, stables, training yards, and paddocks
  • A decorative mix of prismarine, quartz, dark oak, gold, purpur, stained glass, and other royal materials

The structure is intended for Creative building, showcase worlds, adventure maps, roleplay, and large-scale survival bases.

How To Use

Structure Wand

The Structure Wand is the quickest way to place the keep.

  • Equip the wand in your hand.
  • Aim at the desired impact point.
  • Use the wand to launch its projectile.
  • The projectile travels in the direction you are looking.
  • When it hits a block or entity, placement begins at that location.
  • The keep is oriented using your current facing direction.
  • The wand does not need crafting and is reusable after its cooldown.

The projectile produces a chime on impact and visible particle effects while the structure is being prepared.

Structure Commands

The mod provides client-side structure commands:

  • /structure list — Displays the structures available to place.
  • /structure build gilded_prismarine_keep — Places the keep at your current position at its default scale.
  • /structure build gilded_prismarine_keep <size> — Places a scaled version using a target size between 16 and 256.

For example, /structure build gilded_prismarine_keep 128 creates a more manageable version for a smaller building site.

The default command build and the wand use different placement scales: the wand targets a maximum dimension of about 128 blocks, while the command without a size uses the structure’s normal scale.

Placement Tips

  • Clear a broad area before using the wand or command.
  • Leave room around the impact point for the moat, gardens, walls, and outer bailey.
  • Test a smaller command scale before committing to the full-sized estate.
  • Avoid placing multiple large structures at once. Large builds are placed progressively and may remain in a queue until earlier placements finish.
  • Stay near the construction area while the build completes so you can watch for terrain or spacing issues.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for the Gilded Prismarine Keep or the Structure Wand.

Obtain the Structure Wand from the Creative inventory, or use:

/give @s gilded-prismarine-keep-p5lnaqag:structure_wand

The keep itself is generated directly through the Structure Wand or the /structure build command. The displayed structure name for commands is gilded_prismarine_keep.

Abilities And Mechanics

Scaled Placement

The keep can be generated at different scales when using the command. Choose a size between 16 and 256 to fit the structure into smaller areas or create a dramatic full-scale estate.

Scaling changes the overall placement size while preserving the keep’s recognizable layout, towers, walls, rooms, and grounds.

Animated Construction

A successful placement is accompanied by:

  • A projectile impact chime
  • Witch particles around the impact point
  • Enchantment particles swirling around the construction area
  • A short visual construction sequence before the structure settles into place

The animation lasts about three seconds, but the actual placement of a very large keep can continue beyond the visual effect.

Placement Queue

Large structures are placed in batches rather than appearing as one instantaneous block update. If several builds are requested close together, later placements wait in a queue. The game reports the structure name, block count, and queue position when a placement is accepted.

A server can hold only a limited number of pending placements. If the queue is full, wait for an existing build to finish before trying again.

Custom Colored Voxel

The mod also provides a Colored Voxel block. It is used for color-tinted voxel visuals and may be available in the Creative inventory for decorative or experimental building. Its default color is white, and its appearance can represent a stored red, green, and blue color value.

Progression And Strategy

Gilded Prismarine Keep has no item-based progression. Its progression is based on how much of the estate you choose to build and customize.

A practical building order is:

  1. Place a scaled keep to learn the layout.
  2. Inspect the gatehouse, moat, and outer wall access.
  3. Furnish the great hall and throne areas first.
  4. Connect the ballroom, dining hall, library, and bedchambers with themed decorations.
  5. Fill the courtyard with fountains and statues.
  6. Finish the gardens, hedge maze, barracks, and stables.
  7. Expand to the full footprint when you have enough open terrain.

For a showcase build, use the wand at its target scale and decorate the surrounding landscape manually. For a complete fortress estate, use the full command scale and reserve the entire area for the keep, moat, gardens, and outer bailey.
