    Description:

The Flowered Beast is a neutral, grass-covered ravager-like creature with yellow eyes and colorful flowers along its back that appears mainly in swamps and mangrove swamps and less commonly in forests, and it no longer spawns in snowy or plains/grass biomes. It hits hard, inflicts decay every three attacks, rapidly regenerates when low on health, summons bogged allies when threatened, and drops flowers, grass blocks, and beetroot seeds. You can tame any Flowered Beast with a flower and ride it with a saddle — tamed beasts follow and teleport to you, can be told to sit, boost nearby crops, jump small heights without trampling crops, and be healed with flowers; a Snow‑Ice Beast variant spawns only in frozen/snowy/ice biomes, sports snow-and-ice designs, behaves the same when tamed, and summons strays instead of bogged when attacked.

    Mod Wiki

    Flowered Beast

    Quickstart

    1. Head to a swamp or mangrove swamp — Flowered Beasts spawn there most commonly, and also appear in forests and birch forests.
    2. Approach carefully. The beast is neutral until provoked.
    3. Hold any flower (a dandelion or poppy works) and interact with the beast to tame it. You may need to try once or a few times.
    4. Once tamed, place a saddle on it and ride! Use your jump button to leap small obstacles.
    5. For the icy variant, explore frozen, snowy, or ice biomes to find the Snow-Ice Beast.

    Overview

Flowered Beast adds two large, ravager-sized neutral creatures covered in grass and colorful blooms. Found in wetland and woodland biomes, these beasts are dangerous in the wild but become loyal, rideable companions once tamed with a flower. A winter counterpart — the Snow-Ice Beast — haunts frozen biomes and shares the same taming mechanics.

Both variants have their own Spawn Egg available in Creative mode.

    Abilities And Mechanics

    Wild Behavior

    • Neutral — ignores players unless attacked.
    • Hard-hitting melee — hits hurt significantly.
    • Decay infliction — every third attack applies the Decay effect to its target.
    • Rapid regeneration — when its health drops low, it heals itself quickly.
    • Summons allies — when threatened, a Flowered Beast calls Bogged skeletons for backup; the Snow-Ice Beast calls Strays instead.

    Drops

When a Flowered Beast or Snow-Ice Beast is killed, it can drop:

    • A wide variety of flowers (dandelion, poppy, blue orchid, allium, azure bluet, tulips, oxeye daisy, cornflower, lily of the valley, sunflower, lilac, rose bush, peony, pitcher plant, and more — 1–3 rolls of 1–2 each)
    • Grass blocks
    • Beetroot seeds

    How To Use

    Taming

Hold any flower and interact with an untamed beast. Taming succeeds with a single offered flower. Both the Flowered Beast and the Snow-Ice Beast can be tamed this way.

Accepted taming flowers include: dandelion, poppy, blue orchid, allium, azure bluet, any tulip, oxeye daisy, cornflower, lily of the valley, wither rose, sunflower, lilac, rose bush, peony, torchflower, pitcher plant, flowering azalea, pink petals, eyeblossoms, wildflowers, cactus flower, cherry leaves, and more.

    Riding

Place a saddle on a tamed beast and interact to mount it. Steer it like a horse using movement keys. Press jump to leap over small obstacles — tamed beasts are careful not to trample crops when jumping.

    Sitting

Interact with your tamed (unmounted) beast to toggle sit mode. A sitting beast stays in place and will not teleport to you.

    Following & Teleporting

When not sitting, a tamed beast follows you and will teleport to your side if it falls more than 16 blocks behind (and you are not riding it).

    Crop Boost

Tamed beasts passively boost nearby crops, accelerating growth in the area around them.

    Healing

Feed your tamed beast any flower to restore its health. Any flower accepted for taming also works for healing.

    Progression And Strategy

Early game — flowers as currency. Flowers are free to gather from the world and are all you need to tame a beast. Visit a swamp right after establishing your base to secure a mount quickly.

Combat caution. Never attack a wild Flowered Beast carelessly — it hits hard, inflicts Decay, heals itself at low health, and calls in skeleton reinforcements. Come armored, or bring a flower to tame rather than fight.

Farm companion. A tamed beast stationed near your crops acts as a passive growth accelerator without trampling them. Park one next to your fields and let it work.

Frozen biome adventuring. The Snow-Ice Beast behaves identically when tamed but spawns only in icy biomes. If you live or travel in cold regions, tame one locally rather than importing a standard Flowered Beast.

Riding utility. The beast's jump can clear one-block-high terrain, making it useful for navigating swampy or uneven ground. Its large size and durability also make it an intimidating presence when exploring hostile areas.
