The Golden Apple Cow is a rare, peaceful, milkable cow that wanders grassy biomes in small herds, can be bred, and moves about twice as fast as a normal cow, announcing its arrival with "A Golden Apple Cow has spawned!" It looks like a vanilla cow but with a new, tasteful gold-toned coat — familiar face, hooves and animations are preserved while rich gold hues and subtle gold-block square accents are blended into its spots. When killed it commonly drops large amounts of gold ingots (increased by Looting), still drops leather and beef (cooked if on fire), and has a chance to drop an enchanted golden apple.
