/summon com_infernal_axolotl_alucjkfj:myaxolotl.The Infernal Axolotl is a tiny, hyper-aggressive demonic mob that never appears in the world on its own — every encounter is one you choose to start. Half the size of a normal axolotl, it sports charred skin, glowing red eyes, and small horns. Despite its unsettling cuteness, it is a genuine threat: it moves faster than a sprinting player on land, is fully amphibious, and will relentlessly pursue players, villagers, iron golems, and most passive animals alike.

The Infernal Axolotl targets anything within a 20-block radius without needing line of sight. Its target list includes players, villagers, iron golems, cows, sheep, and most other passive or neutral mobs. It will re-select targets and persist in pursuit for several seconds even if the current target escapes.
Each attack deals 5 damage (2.5 hearts) and is followed by a short cooldown before it can strike again.
On land, the Infernal Axolotl scurries at a speed that outpaces a sprinting player — don't expect to simply run away. It is equally at home underwater, swimming at the same high speed. Unlike normal axolotls, it can remain on land indefinitely without drying out.
You can attach a Lead to the Infernal Axolotl by interacting with it. The lead will stretch far and will never snap no matter how hard the creature strains against it. To remove the lead, interact with the axolotl directly — you cannot cut it with shears.
Killing an Infernal Axolotl rewards 3–6 XP, but only if a player lands the killing blow.
Engagement options:
Looting pays off. A Looting III sword noticeably improves the quantity of all drops and slightly increases the chance of the rare Infernal Horn Fragment trophy.

The Lavaxolotl is a hardy, fire-loving axolotl that swims comfortably in lava, has high health and is completely immune to damage, can be tamed with a bucket of cod and bred like normal axolotls, uses custom feeding and attack sounds, and unleashes a powerful fire attack that sets other mobs burning for 20 seconds. This update makes them far more common and easier to find: they now spawn reliably in rivers, shallow overworld water and lava pools in larger groups across biomes, and they move much faster on land so you’ll encounter them more often along shores.
