Falling Fruit Fields

Quickstart

1. Explore your world — walk through grass, open chests in structures, and chop fruit trees to collect your first seeds, fruits, and recipe unlocks.
2. Harvest berry bushes by right-clicking them; they drop berries without being destroyed. Use shears to pick up and relocate a bush block.
3. Plant seeds on farmland to grow vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce, corn, cucumbers, garlic, onions, bell peppers).
4. Craft a workbench (standard crafting table) and start combining ingredients into juices, smoothies, baked goods, and savory meals — most recipes are available immediately.
5. Grind wheat into flour at the workbench as a key baking ingredient, and shred cheese to unlock pasta and savory dishes.
6. Open the Falling Fruit Fields creative tab to browse every item, plant block, and food the mod adds.

Overview

Falling Fruit Fields transforms your world into a full orchard, garden, and kitchen. Fruit trees, berry bushes, wild grass drops, and loot chests seed the world with ingredients. You grow those ingredients into a sustainable farm, then combine them at a workbench into an enormous variety of drinks, desserts, snacks, and hearty savory meals. Bowl-based pasta and soup dishes return an empty bowl when eaten, keeping your inventory tidy.

What It Adds

Tree Fruits

Orange, Pear, Mango, Banana, Cherry, Plum — found on fruit trees scattered through the world. Chop the tree to collect full fruit drops.

Berries

Raspberry, Blueberry, Strawberry, Blackberry, Cranberry, Mulberry — grow on berry bushes. Right-click to harvest without breaking the bush; use shears to move bushes.

Vegetables & Garden Crops

Tomato, Lettuce, Corn, Cucumber, Garlic, Onion, Bell Pepper — grown from seeds on farmland.

Processed Ingredients

Flour (ground wheat), Cheese, Shredded Cheese, Pasta, Bacon, Tomato Sauce, Alfredo Sauce, Sprinkles, Frosting, Whipped Cream, Chocolate Frosting, Strawberry Frosting, Mixed Nuts, Marshmallows, and more.

Drinks

How To Use

Finding Ingredients

• Grass has a chance to drop berry seeds and small fruits when broken.
• Fruit trees drop their fruit when chopped down.
• Berry bushes in the world can be right-clicked to harvest berries repeatedly. Shear them to pick up the bush item and replant it elsewhere.
• Chests in generated structures contain seeds, raw ingredients, and occasional recipe unlocks.

Growing Crops

Plant vegetable seeds on tilled farmland, water, and wait for the crop to mature before harvesting. Replant seeds to maintain a steady supply.

Processing at the Workbench

The standard crafting table is the main kitchen station. Combine raw fruits, vegetables, dairy, and processed ingredients here to produce everything from a simple glass of orange juice to a full bowl of ramen noodles. Bowl-returning meals (pastas, soups, ramen, chili) give you back an empty bowl on consumption.

Progression And Strategy

Early game — Wander through grass and biomes to collect wild berries and seeds. Raid chests in villages and structures for bonus ingredients. Right-click any berry bush you find rather than breaking it; they're renewable on the spot.

Mid game — Establish a dedicated garden plot. Grow all seven vegetable types on farmland. Plant berry bushes in an organized patch — shear them to move them next to your base. Keep a supply of wheat so you can grind flour on demand.

Kitchen phase — Build a stock of flour, cheese, tomato sauce, pasta, and dairy. These intermediate ingredients unlock the widest range of crafting recipes, from simple mac and cheese all the way to spaghetti with meatballs, pizza, and ramen. Savory bowl meals are especially efficient for hunger because they return the bowl.

Dessert mastery — Once you have fruit variety, chocolate, and dairy, you can produce the full range of ice creams, milkshakes, cakes, puddings, donuts, and cupcakes. Frosting, sprinkles, and whipped cream are standalone crafted ingredients used to upgrade basic baked goods into fancier variants (e.g., plain cupcake → frosted cupcake → sprinkle cupcake).

Orchard building — Plant sapling variants from your fruit tree drops to create a permanent orchard. Combined with a berry bush garden and full vegetable farm, you'll have every ingredient the mod needs available on demand.
