Blackheart Netherite Armor
Quickstart
- Use a smithing table to make the four armor pieces using the recipes below.
- Equip the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots in their matching armor slots.
- Wear the complete set to gain 50 extra hearts. Try taking off one piece to see the set bonus disappear.
In Creative mode, you can also find the pieces in the Combat inventory tab.
Overview
Blackheart Netherite Armor is a durable four-piece armor set. Its extra-health bonus requires all four Blackheart pieces at once; other armor cannot substitute for a piece.

Make each piece in a smithing table with a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template:

Abilities And Mechanics
Wearing the full set increases maximum health by 100 health points, or 50 hearts. When the complete set bonus activates, your health fills to the new maximum. Removing any piece removes the bonus, and your current health is capped at your reduced maximum.
Progression And Strategy
The set’s bonus makes completing all four pieces especially valuable. Keep the full set equipped when you want its extra health; switching out even one piece disables the bonus.
