The Bionic Proto Blade is a powerful sword and a challenge-summoning item. Every use calls forth two persistent enemies:
The blade itself has a glint and counts as a sword.
Bionic appears as an armored zombie-like champion wearing a full set of diamond armor.

Bionic glows so that it remains easy to track during a fight.
Proto uses the appearance of a vanilla wolf but is much stronger than an ordinary wolf.

Proto is linked to Bionic, but it is hostile toward the player when summoned.
Hold the Bionic Proto Blade and use it. The pair appears roughly two blocks in front of you, with Proto spawning slightly to Bionic’s side.
Both creatures immediately target the player who activated the blade. They are persistent, so they remain in the world instead of naturally disappearing.
Use terrain, shields, ranged weapons, and height differences to manage the fight. Bionic has high health and resists knockback, while Proto is fast enough to close distance quickly.
After activating the blade, wait for its cooldown before attempting another summon. You can create another hunting pair once the cooldown expires.
The Bionic Proto Blade can be used as a sword in normal combat. Its very high damage makes it effective against ordinary mobs and summoned enemies alike, but its heavy attack speed makes timing important.
The recipe becomes available after joining a world. Crafting requires a beacon, netherite ingots, a netherite sword, and an echo shard.
The finished blade is also available in the Combat section of the Creative inventory.
Prepare an enclosed arena before using the blade for the first time. Leave enough room to move, but avoid open terrain where Proto can attack from multiple angles.
For safer practice:
For a harder encounter, activate the blade repeatedly in a large arena and fight multiple Bionic-and-Proto pairs at once.
