Overview
The Void Heart is an epic-rarity late-game artifact that channels the power of the End dimension into three distinct abilities: a rapid dash, a knockback shockwave, and a life-saving passive effect. It is a single-item mod — one tool that covers mobility, offense, and survival all at once.
What It Adds
| Item | Rarity | Stack Size |
|---|
| Void Heart | Epic | 1 |
The Void Heart appears in the Combat creative tab.
How To Use
Dash (Right-click)
Instantly teleports you up to 20 blocks in the direction you are looking. The dash traces a path through open air and stops just before any solid wall, so you will never clip into blocks. Cooldown: 2 seconds.
Shockwave (Sneak + Right-click)
Releases a burst of energy that knocks back and damages all enemies within 6 blocks of you. Cooldown: 5 seconds.
Last Stand (Passive)
While the Void Heart is anywhere in your inventory (does not need to be held), it watches your health. If you drop below 3 hearts (6 HP), it automatically triggers Last Stand, granting:
| Effect | Duration |
|---|
| Strength V | 10 seconds |
| Regeneration II | 10 seconds |
| Resistance II | 10 seconds |
After triggering, Last Stand cannot activate again for 5 minutes. Use this window to escape or finish the fight.
Crafting And Obtaining
Crafting the Void Heart demands late-game resources from multiple dimensions:
- Ender Pearls — dropped by Endermen
- Dragon's Breath — collected from the Ender Dragon's breath attack using a glass bottle
- Nether Star — dropped by the Wither
Abilities And Mechanics
- The Dash uses a raytrace along your look direction, so it respects walls and terrain — you always land in a safe open space.
- The Shockwave hits all living entities (mobs and players) within a 6-block radius around you.
- The Last Stand passive scans your health continuously; it fires the moment you drop below the threshold regardless of what is in your hand or armor slots — only inventory presence matters.
- All three abilities share their own independent cooldown timers, so the dash and shockwave can be used back-to-back.
Progression And Strategy
- Craft the Void Heart after defeating the Wither, since the Nether Star is required.
- In combat, open with the Dash to close distance or escape, then use the Shockwave to create space if surrounded.
- Keep the Void Heart in your hotbar or inventory at all times during dangerous encounters so the Last Stand passive is always active.
- After Last Stand fires, the 10 seconds of Strength V and Regeneration II give you a strong window to turn a near-death situation around — press the advantage rather than retreating.
- The 5-minute cooldown on Last Stand means you should not rely on it as your primary survival plan; treat it as an emergency safety net while keeping your health topped up normally.
