Tnt Tempest Bows

Quickstart

In Creative mode, find the mod’s items in the Combat tab. To craft the TNT Tempest Gun, use the recipe below. Equip it, hold Use to charge, then release to fire. While holding Shift, use the gun to switch between TNT Volley and Colossal TNT; the selected mode appears on screen.

Try TNT Volley first: keep holding Use to build a larger volley, then release. Or craft the Flame Slash Sword and use it to send a fiery slash forward.

Overview

The mod’s combat gear includes three projectile weapons and three swords. Use the bows for explosive or lightning attacks, and the swords for fire, freezing, or stopping time.

What It Adds

All six items are available in the Combat tab in Creative mode.

How To Use

Tempest weapons

Hold Use to charge a shot, then release to fire. The bows do not require ammunition. A longer charge increases projectile speed; the TNT Tempest Gun also builds its TNT volley while held, up to 64 projectiles. Its on-screen count shows the current volley size.

The gun switches between TNT Volley and Colossal TNT when you use it while holding Shift. The Lightning Tempest Bow and Colossal TNT Bow each fire their own projectile type when charged and released.

Elemental swords

Use a sword’s Use action for its special ability:

• Flame Slash Sword: Sweeps a fiery attack forward, reaching up to 18 blocks. It damages and ignites targets in its path and can light ordinary fires on suitable ground. Holding it in either hand grants fire resistance.
• Ice Sword: Sends a freezing beam up to 14 blocks and freezes the nearest mob it catches for 5 seconds. Attacking a frozen mob with the sword deals extra damage.
• Timebreaker Sword: Freezes the world for up to 30 seconds. You can still move and act; other entities and players are frozen. Damage dealt to frozen entities is applied when time resumes. Use the sword again to end the freeze early.

Crafting And Obtaining

The TNT Tempest Gun recipe is shown above. The other survival recipes are:

• Flame Slash Sword: fire charges, a netherite ingot, and a blaze rod.
• Ice Sword: packed ice, a diamond, and a stick.
• Timebreaker Sword: an ender eye, a netherite ingot, and a stick.

No crafting recipes are listed for the Lightning Tempest Bow or Colossal TNT Bow; both are available in Creative mode.

Abilities And Mechanics

• TNT Volley fires multiple TNT-style projectiles, while Colossal TNT fires one much larger blast. Use care around terrain and builds.
• The Lightning Tempest Bow calls a lightning bolt at the projectile’s impact point.
• The Flame Slash Sword can hit and ignite targets along its forward path; targets already burning take more damage.
• The Ice Sword freezes the nearest mob along its beam. Use it to hold a threat still, then follow up with melee attacks.
• Timebreaker’s freeze ends after 30 seconds at most, or earlier if you use it again. Damage against frozen targets waits until time resumes.

Progression And Strategy

Start with the TNT Tempest Gun to try both explosive firing modes, then use the Lightning Tempest Bow for a targeted strike. For close combat, freeze a mob with the Ice Sword before attacking, or use the Flame Slash Sword to damage a line of enemies. Save the Timebreaker Sword for moments when you need time to reposition or set up attacks.
