Tnt Fishing Rod

Quickstart

1. Craft the Tnt Fishing Rod using a Fishing Rod and two TNT blocks (see recipe below).
2. Equip it in your hand.
3. Right-click (or press the use-item control) to unleash a barrage of TNT in front of you.
4. Stand back — the TNT bursts scatter outward and land as live, primed explosives!

Overview

The Tnt Fishing Rod turns the classic act of casting a line into a devastating attack. Instead of reeling in fish, this rod flings a spread of primed TNT toward whatever you're facing, making it a powerful tool for demolition, mob clearing, or just causing spectacular chaos.

What It Adds

• Tnt Fishing Rod — a one-handed weapon item that looks and equips like a fishing rod but launches TNT instead of catching fish.

How To Use

• Hold the Tnt Fishing Rod and use it (right-click / use-item action) to trigger a "cast."
• When triggered, a cluster of TNT entities bursts out from in front of where you're looking, scattering outward with a bit of upward toss before landing.
• Each TNT that lands behaves like normal TNT — it will explode after a short fuse, so retreat quickly after casting.
• The rod can also be used like a normal item to place a single TNT block directly on the ground when interacting with common blocks like dirt, grass, stone, sand, or cobblestone, and can be used in dispensers to dispense TNT onto dirt, grass, or stone.
• The rod has limited durability and can wear down with use. Repair it with string to restore some of its durability.

Abilities And Mechanics

• TNT Barrage: Using the rod spawns multiple TNT entities at once, scattered in a small radius in front of the player and tossed with a light impulse so they spread out before hitting the ground.
• Durability: The rod has limited uses before it can break. Each strike or use has a chance to consume durability.
• Repair: String restores a portion of the rod's maximum durability.
• Rarity: The item is marked as an uncommon-tier weapon, reflecting its powerful effect.

Progression And Strategy

• Use the Tnt Fishing Rod for quick terrain demolition, clearing out structures, or dealing heavy area damage to groups of enemies from a safe casting distance.
• Because each cast releases many TNT charges at once, always create distance immediately after casting to avoid being caught in your own blast.
• Keep a stock of string on hand to repair the rod between uses, since durability depletes with each cast.
• Because TNT lands and behaves normally after being cast, timing your escape with the fuse delay is key to using this weapon safely and effectively.
