Stick Of Chests

Quickstart

1. Craft the Stick of Chests using a chest and a stick (see recipe below).
2. Hold the Stick of Chests and use it on any solid block (right-click / use-item, aiming at a block within reach).
3. A menu will pop up letting you pick a category and an item to fill the chest with.
4. Choose exactly one item from one category, then confirm — a chest will appear next to the targeted block, already stocked full of your chosen item.

Overview

The Stick of Chests is a magic tool that instantly conjures a fully-stocked chest wherever you point it. Instead of digging through creative menus or commands to grab stacks of a specific item, just use the stick, pick what you want from a simple list, and a chest full of that item appears right in front of you.

What It Adds

• Stick of Chests — a single custom tool item that spawns a chest filled with a chosen block or item.
• A dropdown selection menu covering several categories of items, including crops and farming goods such as seeds, wheat, beetroot, carrots, potatoes, melons, pumpkins, sugar cane, cactus, cocoa beans, nether wart, berries, kelp, bamboo, and more.

How To Use

• Hold the Stick of Chests and use it on any solid, non-liquid block. Aim within about 6 blocks.
• A form window opens with one or more dropdown categories. Pick one item from one category only — picking more than one, or none, will cancel the action with a message asking you to choose exactly one.
• The chest will be placed adjacent to the block you targeted, on the face you were looking at (or on top if the direction doesn't apply).
• The location must be empty air and not directly next to an existing chest — otherwise you'll get a warning message and no chest will be placed.
• Once placed, the chest fills automatically with a full stack (or a single item, if the item can't stack) in every slot.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The Stick of Chests is a durable tool with limited uses — it takes damage every time it's used and can be repaired with chests.
• It can be enchanted like a tool and glows with a magical shimmer.
• It cannot be used to destroy blocks in Creative mode, keeping its function focused purely on chest creation.
• Using it does not immediately place a chest — the chest only appears after you confirm your selection in the menu, so accidental placements are avoided.

Progression And Strategy

Use the Stick of Chests to quickly stock storage rooms, set up farms, or grab bulk supplies of crops and farming materials without manually gathering or spawning items one at a time. It's especially handy for quickly building resource stockpiles in creative-style builds or testing setups.
